Straight to the point...these are way better than the generic shears you would get in a home haircutting kit, BUT these are NOT for pro hairstylists/barbers that need to cut a couple of heads a day!After getting these shears, I gave a few passes witha scissor sharpener and oiled them.My first haircut using these went great, and I’ll only use these for home haircuts. I think with proper maintenance & periodic sharpening, these will perform great for years to come.

These actually work GREAT. My boyfriend is Chinese and he has the THICKEST HEAD OF HAIR. It looks like we shaved a dog when I just give him a trim! These scissors have been his favorite. Most of the time, the scissors would pull his thick, coarse hair. He's not complained once about this set! I also use them to keep my bangs trimmed and looking great!On that note: I am not a hairstylist. We just wanted to be able to trim his hair instead of going out every week. He likes it rather thin because it's so hot in Texas. I am not sure how these would work for other types of haircuts/styling.

I have three kids and wanted to start cutting their hair myself. These scissors seem very sharp and good quality. I have tested on myself so far just giving myself a trim and they worked great. I will be testing my hairdressings skills on my children in the next few days. These scissors a great value for the price!!! They're not only super detailed but very versatile! The center portion of the scissors allows you to adjust the level of stiffness you prefer while cutting hair and the scissors themselves are relatively sharp :)! However, I do not recommend these for professional use, as the blade is not sharp enough for the precision required for a professional cut. Generally for precision cuts you want w thin point at the end of your scissors and these have a bit of a rounded edge with no point. The sheers however are pretty standard and quite effective :)! I think these are great scissors for basic at home touch up hair cuts! I would give these scissors a 9/10 for the value and overall product review! :)

I bought this hair scissors as a birthday gift to my friend who is a hair stylist.I just got a phone call from her telling me those scissors are definitely high quality ! She use them everyday and she loves them ! That makes me very happy .

Good quality but there where not sharp and it was making mark in my customers hair so i had to pay 70$ to get them sharp :/
