Fully operational
You need to use MCU_Friend. That library brings this screen directly to life.I haven't used the SD slot yet.

Screen is good but touchscreen is bad
The media could not be loaded. The touch screen (in video provided) is very responsive, however as seen it is bad or in my time of having mine (not very long) it has degraded so much that it stopped getting regular input. I tried recalibrating it but the included software isnt very good at it and it was still doing that curve. Their tech support is pretty much nonexistant and im pretty sure that its just a rebranded product. I am getting another one as the value is pretty good so im going to hope that the new one is not going to have a defective touchscreen.

Works
Check their website - they have example code and manuals (EN & CN) for this specific display,Noticed some folks had problems with the touchscreen. Often with these the display has 0/0 for X/Y coordinates in upper left corner which rotates if the display is rotated. Touchscreen may have 0/0 in bottom left which does not rotate with the display. May appear to not work because touchscreen isn't mapped correctly in your code.

It works. Touch also works.

TFT touch display
Replaced a supposed better shield with this one. This shield has clear text, good color and graphics and is easy to program.

No pins for touch, what's the point?
Sure it might have a touchscreen, but the X-, X+, Y-, and Y+ pins aren't exposed on the PCB, and all of the examples require you to provide those pin locations. Touch is a critical part of my project, so this display is useless unless I'm missing some undocumented way to access the touch pins.

Good display and touch screen works most of the time
I'm using this display on an Arduino Mega which the display plugs into. I found that when the Mega is powered from the IDE computer the touch screen works well. Unfortunately, when powered by a 5vdc power supply on the 5v and Gnd pins, the touch screen is inconsistent when responding to stylist. By checking the voltage, I found that the IDE power is 5v while my power supply is 5.3v. By adding a 2.2 ohm resister in series to the 5v supply lower the voltage and the touch screen responds much better. My real problem is that I have been unable to get the SD card interface to work. The sample code says to use pin 53 for the SD-SS on Mega which fails to initialize. The SD-SS pin is actually plugged into pin 10 on Mega but setting the software to pin 10 also fails to initialize.I guess my biggest grip is that Hosyond customer service is nonexistent, or at least I can't find anywhere to ask the question.
