Easy to set up and assign to a blink zone with a sync module. I bought this to monitor my cat coming and going, so I have recordings of my pussy sent to my phone. It’s purrrrrfect fur the job :-) Originally I put it outside on the back door above the cat flap, but the signal from the wi-fi was too weak there. I moved it into the hallway, where it works with no issues. Great for pet monitoring. I work shifts and, if I don’t see my cat, I still know he’s okay. I can check my phone and see a time stamped recording of him returning from his latest adventures in the outside world. Make sure you have good external wi-fi signal if you want it outside your property!

i’m happy to have added this to my Blink system to keep an eye on the driveway. Mountain high enough on the garage that can’t be tampered with and has quite an advanced filter screen for blocking out areas that could cause it to easily be triggered like the nearby pavement (sidewalk) footpath, or traffic on the road. The only problem I have is that the batteries are going out quite quickly, lasting 2 months. The sensitivity and time settings are the same as my other blink, cameras, and those batteries are still the original, including my blink doorbell.I called Customer Support, they logged into the camera and tell me that the Wi-Fi signal is only one bar. while the connection to the sink module is full bars (?). The sync module is in a drawer underneath the router. The blink doorbell is 4 m away and has a good signal. While the line of sight. This camera is even a little better. The customer service agent told me I need together Wi-Fi extender, or try moving the camera.. I’m gonna need to check this out a little more carefully because I don’t like replacing the batteries so often especially when I have to get on a ladder to do it! 🙄

The system is pretty straightforward to set up, no real issue as everything that's needed comes in the box. My gripe is that as someone who records locally to a USB drive, the system is prone to stopping recording without any warning. Bear in mind that the cloud alternative, while possibly more reliable, costs extra and can be relatively expensive in the case of multiple camera systems (£8/mth). I've hit the forums, the Blink 'tech' contributions to the user requests suggested to me that ringing the helpline would amount to a frustrating waste of time. The actual fixes which work are either a reboot of the system or hard resets; as a person with a tech background I'm happy enough to fiddle around with these bits of kit, but this may not suit everyone. I definitely wouldn't recommend this setup for any real world security applications as it wouldn't be reliable enough, but at this price point it's actually not bad value for the money.

I already had some blink cameras and needed to add to my network.These are good cameras and easy to set up and pair to the app or sync module.Only 4 stars as the batteries went flat within a few weeks which suggests they were defective upon purchase as my existing cameras batteries haven't needed replacing after almost 2 years.

Love how easy was to install the cameras. They were up and running in minutes. Perfect solution to keep an eye on pets or Empty properties

Easy to install and set up. Images/videos clear although slight delay on when the senor is activated to start of video

The outdoor: It does the job and the image quality and settings are very good considering the price. I can't comment on the batter yet, however, I feel it will never reach 2 years as it is often activated in the position I am keeping it. It would take 2 minutes to change 2AA batteries, so it's not the end of the world anyway. The annoying part is that sometimes, for no reason, it doesn't start recording when instead there is obvious motion - this doesn't happen often, but if that was the time they try and steal my bike it would be suboptimal.The indoor: works just fine, very good product, nothing to complain.The sync module: same, works well, no problems.
