HurriCaine Topical Anesthetic Gel Watermelon - 1 oz.

My wife has a sneaky cavity that started in between two teeth and hollowed one of them out nearly completely before causing more than a dull ache. Then, almost overnight, all hell broke loose and she was in absolute agony. Eugenol (clove oil) doesn't agree with her at all, but we needed something quick, so I picked this up expecting something similar to oragel in terms of performance - ie to make it bearable as long as you reapply it often. I myself have multiple teeth in states of severe decay, with exposed nerves, because I had some pretty bad experiences with dentists when I was younger and I have a fairly high pain tolerance. Up until recently, I used eugenol myself to help with these, but I heard you shouldn't use eugenol near exposed nerves, it hasn't been helping all that much at this stage anyways, and frankly eugenol is unpleasant enough to use that I just couldn't stand doing so as frequently, so since we'd ordered this stuff for my wife already, I decided to try it. For both of us, this stuff worked amazingly well. * It's got a surprisingly pleasant taste, similar to the artificial flavoring they use in candy. No "medicine-y" taste that I noticed. * the consistency is somewhere between gel and softened wax. It melts away when it touches saliva, but holds long enough to largely get it where you need relief without numbing half of your face like other less viscous products. * The relief is immediate, and long lasting. I decided to write this review after accidentally biting down on a piece of food with one of my bad teeth and using a tiny bit of Huricaine to go from "eye watering pain" to perfectly fine instantly. It's been half an hour, and the pain hasn't come back. Amazing! * A jar of this stuff lasts longer than I expected. We've had this jar for about two months, and depsite frequent use still have tons left. It's just the right size to fit in the medicine cabinet, too. Side note: I picked up a set of dental tools here on Amazon that included a dental spade meant for levelling fillings. I use that tool to scoop out a small bit of Hurricaine to avoid contaminating the bottle itself with a finger or get cotton fibers in it from swabs. This stuff sticks to the tool very well, making it easy and almost completely mess free to apply.

I use this on my gums because my teeth hurt from clenching. It is very effective and the taste is ok for the relief it gives me. I have tried many similar products, but this is the best. The little bottle lasts a long time. This is my 3rd purchase of this product over several years. I highly recommend it.

This product is amazing! It stays on the area better than the liquid. You can put in on a Q tip, like at the dentist office does, to numb the area. This allows more gel to be absorbed into the sore gum area. The flavor isn’t bad at all. I highly recommend it for a toothache or sore place on the gum.

I’ve had new lower partials for about 2 months. I like how it fits but getting use to it has been a pain. Literally! It rubbed against the lower area of my gums until I could barely stand to wear it after a while…even after my dentist made adjustments. I tried using Ora-Gel, Anbesol, Zilactin-B, rinsing with warm salt water. I used mouthwash, denture cushions, denture adhesives, but nothing worked! I read the reviews about HurriCaine Gel so I ordered it. Reluctantly I tried it. Guess what?? It stopped the pain immediately! I put a little on the affected area, waited, spit out the excess, put the partial in. Wow!! I have absolutely NO pain!! So glad I purchased HurriCaine Topical Anesthetic Gel..watermelon flavor. Ya’ll it’s bomb!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I like the flavor, (though not really like watermelon) I appreciated the packaging instead of a tube. Instantly numbs and lasted about 30 minutes. It would be nice if it came with an applicator. I would order again.

I love this HurriCaine Gel, this is my second bottle I have purchase. If you have tooth or gum pain this is what you want, trust me, IT WORKS GREAT AND INSTANTLY!!! I tried using over-the-counter toothache pain medicine (not sure I can use the name, but everyone knows what I'm referring to) takes a little while to start working and tastes so nasty and doesn't last long, not this, the watermelon taste is wonderful and it starts working immediately. Should really say something if I'm on my second bottle. I hate the dentist and don't want to go every time I have pain in a tooth or gum, so I use this stuff. Just a little dab on your finger or Q-tip and rub where you have pain, GONE. Can't say enough about this product, works fast and lasts a long time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HURRICAINE GEL FOR TOOTH AND GUM PAIN!! You won't find anything better, I've looked and tried and always come back to this.
