This is a great book to learn basics and advanced techniques for grounding and bonding radio equipment and antennas. The author does a good job explaining various options and acknowledges that not everybody will have the means of doing everything suggested. The author gives recommendations and sufficient detail that the reader can determine what is best for their situation.

I have been a corrosion technician for 20+ years. A significant piece of corrosion control and remediation is electrical. The ham radio world has a strong need to protect their stations from lightning strikes, voltage surges on AC lines and voltages being induced onto unwanted circuitry.I bought this book as a reference for doing corrosion work in the maritime industry.I have many years of self directed learning and certifications in this stuff. I found this book to be easy for the non-engineer to understand, yet it still had substantial information that was valuable for me.As with all the other arrl titles I’ve read, this was a worthwhile investment of time and money.

This seems to be a very good resource for info on grounding and bonding an amateur radio station's equipment and antennas.

At first I was out off by the highly technical explanations because I was really looking for a smoke list of things to buy or build to ground my ham station. However, I did find the more technical info helpful and gained a better understanding of not just what I needed to do but why I should.
