Maker's Diet Meals: Biblically-Inspired Delicious and Nutritious Recipes for the Entire Family

Recipes are written wrong.
The recipes are so poorly written I can't believe it. Such huge mistakes, like thinking a butternut squash is going to bake in 10-15 minutes and the picture shows white onions and nuts and the recipe has red onions (which didn't quite make the grade, next time I am using white or brown) and there were no options for nuts. The peppermint candy recipe is completely confusing. And so forth. I do not think someone actually checked and tried these recipes. I think they farmed it out to people on Upwork or something and told them to be sure they are not plagiarizing anyone else and that gives results that don't even make sense. Very disappointing. This would never work for someone who is trying to follow the recipe like most people will want to do. Instead, it might give a good idea and you have to analyze what is written and fix the recipe yourself based on your culinary skill.

Inaccurate ingredients and instructions
I agree with several other reviewers. The recipies are incorrect! I had to throw away the entire chocolate banana bread! I thought 1 TBSP of salt was a bit much so I did less but it was horrible. Tried it again with a tiny bit of salt 1/4 tsp and it was better. Also, some recipes refer to other recipes with page numbers, you go to those pages and recipe is not on that page. It makes me scared to try other recipes in this book! These ingredients are expensive and I don't like throwing them in the trash!! I don't think anyone tried these out first. I shared this with my sister who has a child with crohn's. She said these are pretty much the same recipes she already has...does make you wonder if these from this book are copied with slight "incorrect" changes! Very sad since I don't think I can return this!

I wouldn't bother to but this book.
This cookbook has an adequate number of items in each category, but I found very little that I would even bother to make. Everything is very time consuming and there are no short and easy recipes to be found. Make some simple ones and it would be perfect.

Easy Healthy
Many good recipes for a more healthy diet. My daughter suffered from digestion issues and changing her diet and sticking to it has made a giant turn around in her health. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like better health.

The recipes are delicious BUT the instructions are vague and the ingredients are not always listed correctly. For example- there are several recipes that call for vanilla some say "vanilla" others say "vanilla extract". Also, the pictures of the completed recipe often show the finished recipe with ingredients in it that are not listed in the recipe ingredients. Overall it needs work.

Information is good but recipes aren't practical
Ingredients for recipes aren't easily found at grocery store and honestly, the pictures for the meals don't look that appetizing at all. The information is great, but wish the recipes were better. I bought it used for a cheap price and now I see why . . . .

Nice Ring-Bound Cookbook that Accompanies Maker's Diet
This cookbook gives some good recipes, however, it recommends using some ingredients that I'm not familiar with nor am able to get at the grocery store.

Not The Maker's Diet
When I saw the title, I thought it would be a recipe book of Vegan and Raw foods. It is not. It is a organic carnivore book instead of menus after the flood. If you are Vegan or raw, forget this book. This is not the makers diet as prescribed in Genesis 1:29. I threw the book away.

Splendid book! Only drawback is that much of the food items are American based, although I expect further research on my part will bring to light UK based equivalents.
