Works great, just be sure to note that it's Metric.
The product is made and works well. I was surprised that it's Metric when I bought it. I use Metric and US so I wasn't concerned. But the title should be changed.

This is a metric tool.
This item is metric, although this fact is not in the listing. A close look at the photos may imply that it is metric, but in augur bits, size is indicated by giving the number of 16ths, meaning that 4 is equal to 1/4". US tools are assumed to be SAE unless otherwise noted. When I wished to return it, the seller said "The item we have sent you is the same as the listing" and required me to pay return shipping. This is a very simple matter to address in the listing and would avoid any inconvenience to the customer.

Does the job very well if you have a long ...
Does the job very well if you have a long enough drill bit as it's quite chunky (about 50mm deep, which means that your drill bit length has to be 50mm plus the length/depth of the whole that you want to drill. And generally the smaller bits ie 4-5-6mm are usually as long as the actual device itself or just a little bit longer which makes it impossible for you to drill a deep enough whole)So works well for big jobs, but not really fit for purpose for small jobs. There should be a shallower version available as well.

The plastic material is too soft
I got this drill aid in hope to reduce drill walking and to get the hand drill closer to the normal when drilling oak and soft aluminium. The plastic that the tool is made of is too soft to be clamped to the work piece: as one tightens the G-clamp, the drill guide flexes and moves by 3-4 mm. Even if one manages to get it to center on a hole after clamping, during drilling it walks away by 2-3 mm. I got much more accurate results by eyeballing the holes (picture attached). A steel block with pre-drilled holes would do a much better job than this tool.

Not a universal solution to keeping your drilled holes straight but works well in the right situations
I bought this item to provide a mobile equivalent to a pillar drill - well as close as this type of item could do. You know the issue, you are drilling a hole into a door, wall etc and you think you were going straight....and then you come through the other side of the object in question and you are not in the same position as you should have been.Ironically I bought this device just after such an occurrence (remedial work solved that mistake) and have not had much use for it since. However, I did get to finally use it this weekend and it is okay. Why just okay? Well to be honest, the item I was trying to drill was annoyingly too small for this tool to work correctly, in that no firm base could be established. So it is not a universal aid for all of your misalignment woes but I did then have a play on some more appropriately sized gash material I had lying around and it did the job well.As others have noted, this is really only of use with wood and HSS drill bits. Masonry drills have extended drill heads that are bigger than the shaft, so cannot be fed through the correct hole in this tool. There are ways around this i.e. start the hold and then feed the masonry drill backwards through the tool and then into the drill's chuck but it is a bit of a fuss. That fuss might be worth it though, if hole straightness is needed. So all in all, this a reasonably priced tool which seems to be built to a reasonably quality. I will be keeping it with my drill from now on, so it is always at hand. But the job does need to be of a suitable size for it to work....or indeed the area around the object to be drilled needs to provide enough space for the tool to get into position.

So-so
I used this to drill through 5 doors to fit new handles. Each time, the opposite hole was out of alignment. Maybe the catches were crooked? Anyway, don't expect it to solve your drilling problems completely as it won't.It is also hard to hold securely on the door, clamps are needed.
