These casters look nice attached to my chair, just like they belonged there. They roll smoothly and quietly. Excellent choice. A whole lot better than the original, hard plastic wheels that came with the chair, that's for sure.

If you chair needs new wheels, or if you want to upgrade to a smooth, quiet and easy rolling alternative, these are the wheels for you. The difference is amazing because there is no narrow "tire" (to protect the floor) which typically lasts only a few years on the standard "black plastic double wheel" that comes on most chairs. The whole wheel does the work here and they swivel with ease at direction changes. They are a bit wider than the standard wheels but the only difference is an improved performance. My wife has similar 3" single wheels on her office chair and they have been kind to the hardwood for several years with no downside. I needed these 2 1/4" version (same height as those they replaced) so that the arms on my chair would still fit under the desk. FYI: Not sure how the "noise level" scale works (is 5 stars not noisy?) but these are basically silent. Really enjoying the upgrade!

I had installed new hardwood floors. To protect my new hardwood floors from my office chair's plastic wheels' scratching risks and instead of using a floor mat that would hide my new hardwood floor, a friend suggested rubbery roller blade type caster wheels for my office chair. Most products featured one wheel per stem. I sought a product that featured two wheels per stem to better distribute my weight and thus, decrease risks of damage to my new floors.This product was one of the few products that fit my criteria. The sellers' photographs and descriptions were informative, detailed, and encouraging. Like other reviewers, compared to my chair's former plastic wheels, this product's wheels enable my chair to more easily glide across my new floors, which suggests less friction between these new wheels and the floor, and they're quieter, compared to the former wheels.The wheels' polyurethane seems a softer material that is less likely to scratch hardwood floors than other products' non-polyurethane composition. Each caster seems well assembled. This product was priced lower than other two-wheel per stem caster sets. After several weeks, I have not detected any problems with these new casters. I unreservedly and highly recommend this product.

Changed out the standard poopy plastic wheels with these. Chair rolls great, quiet and no floor scratches or marks. Would buy again. Snap in to the slot in 2 seconds.

My wife has some designer brand office chair. Looks great, but the wheels were garabage! Soooooo noisy and on top of that I noticed that the plastic wheels were starting to make marks on the wood flooring.I put something very similar on my chair but it was a single wheel design. Her plastic wheels had the double wheel so I figured replace it with the same style. I didn't want to raise the height of her chair and then have to hear about why something was "off/different"...lolSuper easy to install. Pull off old wheels and press new ones in. Takes maybe 4 minutes to do.I have noticed that are much smoother than her plastic wheels but they are not as smooth as my single roller blade style wheels on my chair. I attribute this to the double wheel design vs single. Which is fine. When she sat in my chair she actually said it was too easy to move. So this works perfectly for her chair.These are quiet and do not mark up the floor. I should have done this type of an upgrade years ago. I didn't even know it was a thing to change out the crappy chair wheels to something much nicer. Live and learn!Overall very pleased with these wheels. Will update on how long they last/bearing noise as time goes on.

I have been using my chair with the new wheels for almost a month now and they haven't caused any damage to the floor or my chair, if you have a plastic frame I would like to say I don't think singe wheels will hold up you will need the double wheels to even out the weight, I'm pretty heavy and haven't cracked my plastic frame with the double wheels. I saw a couple posts talking about how fast their chairs were with the new wheels and thought they were exaggerating, well they definitely were not. I installed them on my chair and pushed back to see if there was a difference and flung myself into the wall at the end of the hall. I saw people talking about having a height difference as well with the new wheels. I found that the new ones go in slightly more than my old ones so my chair is now slightly shorter. These do still collect hair in the wheels but are much easier on my floors, they even work well on my super bumpy tile. Overall, very good at saving my floors and rolling around. They are also very quite which is a plus.

Got these to replace the original wheels on my sewing chair. I love them! They roll so smoothly from machine to machine. 100% worth it!Edit: Updated with photos of how nice the wheels are, and the state of the old ones. Used and abused! Lol
