Great value for what seems to be a quality product
Large bottle, much larger than expected - almost the same height as a pint container of half & half! Strong taste but not sweet, which I'm happy about. Seems strong and potent. I find I have to shake it to dissolve occasional tiny particles or what may be sediment. It's easier to take when diluted in water. I'm using this in lieu of the baby aspirin my doctor wants me to take every day, or every other day. I don't like the additives in aspirin or what aspirin does to my liver and I've ben reading about other problems that aspirin creates. I read an article by two doctors about tests showing how French maritime bark or pycnogenol gives the same or even more anti-plaque, heart protective benefits without the side effects of aspirin, and that the effectiveness of aspirin in preventing plaque and coronary artery disease is questionable. I took a different brand of French maritime bark for about a year but when I ran out, I found the brand I liked was discontinued, so I found this. It's a good value for its size and when I see some test results from my cardiologist, I'll see if there's any improvement or difference and will update my review. I saw another review that discounted the product because of its "repulsive" taste. It's somewhat bitter but that's because it's pine bark and not a Creamsicle. If you're looking for a genuine French maritime pine bark extract, supposedly the type with the most healing and anti-inflammatory properties, beware of the species - you want Pinus pinaster. I saw another product being sold that was made from Pinus strobus, which is a species that is known to wildly overgrow and be subject to rot and fungus. Imagine some outfit making a supplement out of one of those crops. I'm sure things like that happen in the supplement and herb industry. I'm not a big fan of the FDA, but supplements aren't regulated so buyer beware. Pycnogenol is the trade name for Pinus pinaster, the real French maritime pine bark, and this product is Pinus pinaster.

Surprising
Surprising how well I feel it worked to help with energy & brain fog when I use it right after Lion’s Mane, but also surprising the amount of “natural” pieces are suspended in this stuff. Chunks were getting caught in the dropper. I started wondering if perhaps I was given a bottle that went bad, but I do see a few reviews about “sediment”.

Interesting Supplement
So this is interesting but I'm not sure if it's effective - and it's not easy to take without mixing it heavily into something with a strong flavor profile already. There were no ill effects, but I'm also not sure anything else change after about a week of taking it. The supplement still looks a bit unfiltered.Overall I'm not sure if I can recommend this as the benefits aren't truly clear and I kind of have to force myself to take it.

Good product
I take this internally and put in my home made face moisturizer. The dropper gets clogged up sometimes but you know that is the real deal. Will be purchasing again

This is the real deal.
I've used FMB for years.I just received this,so obviously I can't speak to results just yet.But I know the taste of pine bark, and this is it!It's bitter, the way it's supposed to be.I'm not looking for a cocktail;however.

Pycnogenol: Maritime Pine Bark extract
I love having these ancient medicinal/herbal extracts so readily available! This extract has been reputed for centuries as a helpful remedy for lessening inflammation, helpful in asthmatic conditions, preventing infections and improving blood flow.I MUST say, though, I have no personal experience with this, and I would strongly advise you to check with your trusted health professional, do your own research, start slowly, and pay attention to your own body’s responses! But if you have determined that trying out this high quality extract is right for you, this one has got a lot of good qualities. After examining the label and the accompanying literature and product page information, this appears to be a very good way to obtain this product. The bottle and it’s accompanying dropper is glass. It holds 200 twelve-drop “servings”. The label and its information, cautions, warnings, and manufacturing details are all clearly printed on the outside of the bottle. The neck of the bottle is shrink wrapped and it therefore tamper-resistant. The lot number and the expiration date (unopened and stored as per instructions) are embossed right on the label. The product is manufactured right here in the USA. The Nutrix company has a phone number right on the label as well. They are in NC.I am eager to try this out. Many of the listed benefits are things I surely could utilize at this point in my life. I prefer to try out ancient and natural remedies before I succumb to chemical pharmaceuticals which may be bioSIMILAR to the real thing found in nature. I will be very careful to pay attention to how my body reacts and will also follow all the cautions and guidelines before I begin. I will also stay alert to changes or warning signs along the way. Best to be in charge of our own health in all responsible ways! I am on a mission to “take back control of my own health” whenever possible!Good health to you, too!
