These gloves are great hand protection from bites of animals and the heat and danger of welding. I bought these when I purchased traps to get possums out of my house. The traps worked exactly as I wanted, but since animals can get defensive when trapped, I decided to opt for protection in case they tried to bite me when I released them. The worst didn't happen, but I'm glad I had the gloves, anyway. They are comfortable to wear, but since they are thick and stiff, they are not really flexible. I can suggest them to anyone who welds or deals with animals to prevent burns and bites.

We run a rescue and have to handle scared and feral cats regularly. These gloves keep us safe. Nothing we have caught has ever been able to bite or claw through them. This is a must because these cats are unvaccinated and can carry diseases and dangerous bacteria. Thanks for keeping us safe!

I have small hands and these were too large. Returned. The quality seems fine. I just wish there was an option for sizes.

didn’t need

I bought these gloves in case we'd have a problem using a clipper on my cats fur, but didn't end up needing them and actually are too big and bulky for this purpose. Thought we'd use these to protect us from her claws. A good example I think these would be useful in would be if you had an iguana like I once had (4 ft) that has potential to bite and has sharp claws. The gloves are very long, cover arms very well, the padding on the gloves themselves is thick, making them bulky.

These are perfect for roughousing with my cat. It protects me from his bite, with needle sharp teeth, and claws. He knows that he can be free to play hard, and when the gloves are off, he is gentle and sweet.

Already has a tear after 2 weeks!

The gloves were a bit big for my hands but they are very very thick and protected my hands from being biten by my sister's son's hamster that I'm looking after for 2 weeks.

On sent le pincement de la morsure. Les gants limitent quand même la pénétration trop profonde des dents.Ils protègent bien des coups de griffes.Mais il est tout de même préférable d’arriver à immobiliser le chat avant qu’il n’arrive à planter les griffes.Ca permet donc de quand même de limiter les dégâts.Je conseille de l’utiliser avec un sweat-shirt à longue manche si possible pour optimiser la protection

Ohne Handschuhe ein schlichtweg unmögliches Unterfangen.Die Handschuhe hielten bislang sämtliche Kratzer und Bisse fern. Man kann die Katze mit voller Kraft festhalten, ohne Angst vor Wunden haben zu müssen.Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Handschuhe sind sehr steif, man hat recht wenig Griffgefühl. Aber das ist wohl das Resultat für die extreme Widerstandsfähigkeit.Von meiner Seite aus volle fünf Sterne. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Für rund 20 Euro sind diese Handschuhe ihr Geld absolut wert.
