Not recommended to use directly on air-dried clay. It forms a crinkly layer that peels off when rubbed. Works great on painted surfaces

It is absolutely as very good quality product , I suggest the people doing the art & craft activities should go for this its is affordable product with a very good quality . I have below genuine review after using it: It dry quickly & give very good shining look . On drying it form a hard, tough and durable film which is very much important for good varnish to do. It have good weathering properties, resist abrasion and wear well. It retain the color and shine. It is uniform and pleasant looking on drying.

The varnish is very thin compared to the other brands i have used. It has a good glossy finish. The bottle i received had the seal open and the inside foil was also cut open so i am not sure if it a used bottle or refilled and sent.

I've been using it to seal small knick knacks that I paint with acrylic paint and it works great. Can end up smudging the paint if not dried before applying varnish. I usually let the paint dry for a week before varnishing, then I don't face any smudging or issues

It’s a matte finish so it’s going to be more forgiving than a high gloss one but even so it’s kind of thick so be sure to use a quality brush to apply for a better result.

I used this on painted wooden peg dolls and they look great. Will see how it holds up if they need to be cleaned in the classroom after kinder kids play with them.

This product works as advertised. I used it to protect and add shine to some special shells I found on a beach in California. Great product!!
