Works well

This replacement switch for my favourite reclining chair was perfect - an absolute doddle to fit!Diagnosing the issue was way harder than applying the fix - I had the motor off and inspected all the wiring etc etc but the key to the issue was observing the mains transformer green light - when the switch was disconnected the light stayed on , as soon as the switch was reconnected off it went. I was a little concerned as the original switch and cabling had an inline transformer paper way along the cable - the replacement parts did not - I think i5 must be integral to the switch housing? Anyway, here I am feet up only 24 hrs from being stranded - all sorted!

Fast delivery and easy to use

Our 2 seat sofa is probably 8years old when the recliner button stopped working with the fault not allowing either side to move. The led on the power pack was flashing so I ordered a replacement PSU. The new PSU also flashed so I disconnected the usb switch, the PSU stopped flashing and then I was able to lower the working seat. Bought this usb switch, removed the original faulty usb switch and plugged in the new one and the recliner started working. I was pretty relieved as i was thinking it was something expensive but this saved the day.I also snipped the original button off and taped the end of the new one to it so I could thread the new cable through without removing or ripping any cloth from the underneath.

Very good, easy to fit

I don't do reviews but I know how much this could help others.We bought 2 x Lazyboy two seater recliners and after a year one stopped working and about six months later another one stopped working!They were out of warranty and we thought it was mechanical or would cost a fortune so just left it.After a chance conversation with someone who repairs furniture for a living, advised to replace the usb/controls as its a well known issue.Bought two of these and after 30mins both chairs now fully working!Can't believe how easy it was.Now sitting with the chair reclined and forgot how amazing that was.Well worth a try if your recliner has stopped working, cheap and easy fix.

When ordering I was sceptical because the old one had a black box on the wire and this one doesn't. But after ordering and fitting it still does the same job and is alot cheaper than original. This one also has lights surrounding the buttons which is an added bonus. Works well for reclining sofa.
