great performing motherboard
I got this for my ryzen 7 5700X. It came with a fairly current bios so I didn't have to update which was nice. There is a newer one out there but I'm not worried about updating it because everything works. This is a great motherboard for the price, lots of features, it has 4 ram slots which is very nice, it can handle rgb if you want it, and the board with 32gb of 3200 ddr4 ram is very quick. combined with a 3060 12gb gpu and its my main gaming rig. I liked the board enough that I got a second one for another project. Also it sounds like AMD is going to be releasing some new AM4 cpus so I would expect this bord to support them with a bios update. So we'll see if the future of AM4 is going to live on for a bit yet. I really like this motherboard, there isn't much it can't do. Even the wifi is nice and fast.

We would recommend this MOBO to a friend
Good board choice at a good value.Pros: 1) Heat sinks are large and well made 2) Diagnostic Led's provide helpful clues as to things that go wrong during startup in our case a reused Video card gone bad. 3) All software drivers easily downloaded and detected (we inserted audio jack and it prompted web download) 4) A ton of Youtube videos describing different scenarios 5) Indications on reviews are that the board has good reliability.Cons:1) The positioning of the USB 3 and SATA connectors was not thought out well. For a smaller case you really need to plug these in before installing the board into the case unless your a contortionist . A vertical pcb header would have been a better choice2) As some noted few PCI slots limited. 3) Back panel plate is a bit ill fitting for connector shells.4) Wifi antennas supplied are a bit loose fitting when installed

Great value for the price, BUT you probably have to flash the BIOS (or could have other issues)
Despite being relatively tech-savvy, this motherboard was used in the first PC I built from scratch. During that process, I learned three things everyone should know.1) If you put an AMD Ryzen 5 or newer processor (mine was originally the 5500 and I swapped it to the 5500 GT), then you need to flash the BIOS. Even if you did everything correctly, you could still be missing monitor output. As scary as it sounds because people have bricked their MOBO before, flashing the BIOS isn't especially difficult. All you need is a spare 8GB Flashdrive that you can reformat. I won't go through the full list of instructions, but there are plenty of tutorials out there.2) This is an optional step, but I /highly/ recommend getting a CPU with integrated graphics (remember, I swapped from the 5500 to the 5500 GT). It costs a little more money, but it can make the initial Windows install and driver updates infinitely easier. If the BIOS is flashed, then the CPU should work. If the CPU works, and you have integrated graphics, then you can do the entire setup process and have a much easier time troubleshooting any GPU problems you could encounter.3) I ran into very, very weird compatibility issues with one of the off-brand RX 580s you can find on Amazon (hence recommending integrated graphics for troubleshooting). The GPU worked, but it only worked when I slotted it into my PC I've had since 2019. It never worked on this motherboard. I slotted a random, old GPU I had sitting around (9500 GT), and it DID work on this motherboard. Despite using the other GPU to install Windows and drivers, I could never get any display output using that RX 580. That said, I wouldn't blame the motherboard for issues with an off-brand component originally manufactured 7 years ago. Ended up shelling out an extra $60 to get an RTX 3050 just to get something from a reputable company.Your mileage may vary with this motherboard, but so long as you have integrated graphics, buy a reputable GPU, and are willing to learn how to flash the BIOS (which isn't bad at all on this motherboard), then you'll probably get an amazing value.

Perfect for first time
This was my first time building a PC. Everything was easy to use and read. I didn't need a Bios update or know how to really do anything too advanced. I was pretty happy with the quality and it's compatability with all the other parts I bought. I bought a really big heatsink and was afraid it would be too big and get in the way of the ram but it all worked out pretty great. Every component worked all fitting were pretty stable.

Great board. Definitely recommend for the price
So far performance has been great. Currently running a Ryzen 7 5700X (upgraded from a Ryzen 5 4500). Both CPU’s got excellent performance. Also installed 2 - 16gb G. Skill trident RGB RAM sticks at 3200mhz using XMP profiles and have been stable. Board has a clean look to it. CPU temps have been great after installing aftermarket tower cooler. (Stock CPU cooler was too weak to cool the 5700X. USB port speed has also been good so far. For the price, this is a great AM4 board especially being that it comes with WiFi and Bluetooth built in and has a gigabit Ethernet jack.

Nice board for AM4
Nice Motherboard for my budget build, support for AM4 processors out of the box, BIOS is really intuitive and has a lot of configurations.Included phisical manual is bad, but the one available in MSI official site covers all your questions regarding ports and how to connect things.Everything I connected worked really well.I really like that the BIOS has advanced and easy mode, so if you are a noob like me you can understand things easily just in easy mode, and I guess advanced mode can allow advanced users to modify details they way they like
