Wonderful fragrance, it does not disappoint!

This a little strong at first, but it fades out really nicely to a background scent I love to smell all day

Going through the other reviews i figured that my products would be half empty and it WASN'T. It was completely full and in cute packaging.The smell however initially smells like the smoke on your clothes after you have been sitting at the bonfire for a while. but after it hits your skin and sits for about 5 minutes then the smell actually starts to come through and it is a very pleasant. I would give this a 5 star but I can't get over the bonfire smell.

I gave it only 1 star because all I could smell was vanilla, it's way too much vanilla! The other notes t were nowhere to be found, so I don't know if I got a bad bottle for $99 or this is the way it's supposed to smell, but I've got quite a few other wonderful men masculine fragrances even designer ones colognes as well and they got the same pretty much close the same notes as this one, but they did not have vanilla this strong, it's just Overkill and and I personally believe that your girlfriend oryour wife would not like it at all. I'm in a relationship but I'm not about to wear it cuz I'm pretty sure she won't like it. The sad part I'm wasting $99 for something I'll never use.

Smelled it in a store and added to my list right away. This is a great masculine but not too “manly” scent that is great for layering with other scents or standalone! So if you are looking for something that has all the sandalwood and warm oak profiles but not campfire or patchouli undertones give this one a try!

The media could not be loaded. It’s a good thing I love this scent because I’m covered in it. The perfume spilled all over the packaging. I have ordered directly from Phlur many times and never had this issue before. Faulty packaging & shipping and handling. Unfortunately there is no recourse because this item doesn’t qualify for return or replace policy. Somebody wood is a lovely scent, reminds me of leather. It’s one of my favorites from Phlur. I recommend buying directly from them.

I ordered the "Somebody Wood" after I smelled a bottle of it in an expensive gift shop. It's a really interesting and intriguing scent. I can't say that I would use this as an everyday scent, but maybe a "nice occasion" fragrance for fall and winter. When you first apply it, it has a very strong campfire smell, which I love. Once it's on the skin for a while, it mostly smells like vanilla, which I actually find a little disappointing, as I would prefer for it to retain its campfire smell. I still like it and will wear it. A note on shipping: as others have noted in reviews, the bottle leaks and when I received it, it was more than half empty. I knew I was in trouble when my parcel arrived and the box itself had a big dent in it and smelled strongly like leaked perfume. It was shipped in a box with no padding instead of a padded envelope, which is really too bad. To Amazon's credit, I reported the issue and they issued me a gift card for the purchase amount so I could buy a new bottle.

Decent fragrance. Lasted, maybe an hour. Would not purchase, again!
