I disagree with most of these answers. It depends on your gender, activity level, and size. I am a 6 ft man and it definitely requires more than a pea-sized ball to get full coverage. A smaller amount does not seem to quite be able to make it through an entire day. As a result, 1 jar only lasts me about 1 month, maybe 5 weeks tops.

What does this deoderant smell like? Is it flowery, spicy, herbally, etc.? Thanks!

It smells like Vicks to me, the scent is strong and overpowering. Since the smell is more masculine, I gave it to my husband, but he didn’t like it because it was hard to use. I had it in the jar.

since its not an antiperspirant, can you advise if there are any other natural products that are (perhaps to encourage this company to make?)?

It may say that it's just a deodorant but I have found it works better than my old not so natural antiperspirant...I wanted to test it out and see if Piperwai does work as an antiperspirant so one day I used a name brand aluminum filled antiperspirant like I used to use and found that Piperwai worked better as an antiperspirant than the name brand. The only ones it didn't beat was the prescription strength antiperspirants. If I were to encourage them to make anything along these lines...it would be underarm cleansing wipes one could use so they could apply more, say between showers...whether that is in the morning before a workout when you know you are going to shower after. I find his product works best on very very clean skin.
