Maintains sharpness
These kitchen shears are great. They're excellent for cutting up chicken, and the curve helps me position them so I can see what I'm doing. I still haven't had to sharpen them. They fit nicely in my knife block.

Works great cutting through bones
They work fantastic cutting through poultry bones, like butterflying thanksgiving turkey or Cornish hens. But not much else. They don't like to cut other things so I've used them to cut up meat but not super successfully. Mostly a one trick tool that gets that one important job done like a breeze!
