Color me impressed
After six months of using this surveillance system, I can confidently share my experience, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. My initial motivation for an upgrade stemmed from the outdated, cumbersome head end of my old hardwired camera system under the front porch. The struggle was real, especially with the lack of support for newer Windows OS. My expectations for the porch camera were initially low due to its lack of direct sunlight. To my surprise, the built-in solar panel proved to be a game-changer, keeping the camera consistently charged with ambient sunlight. Despite the limited sunlight, it only triggers 1 to 2 alerts a week, showcasing impressive efficiency. Contrastingly, the garage camera, basking in direct sunlight, handles 10 to 20 alerts daily. Even as fall reduces daylight, it maintains a solid 70% charge. Considering my home's 12-inch thick insulated concrete walls, the impeccable signal strength from the home unit inside the kitchen pantry is noteworthy. The garage camera, facing 2 interior walls, 1 exterior wall, and the garage door, experiences no signal issues. The AI recognition feature is commendable, excelling at detecting individuals from various angles, not just head-on views. Night vision performs well, falling between good and spectacular, with room for improvement in IR light coverage. While the camera's IR lights are effective within a close range, additional IR repeaters can enhance night vision for broader coverage. The daytime picture quality is truly spectacular, and the well-crafted app enhances the overall user experience. Setup is a breeze, and the app's speed, even on mobile networks, is praiseworthy. Motion detection sensitivity can be adjusted, a handy feature for my garage camera dealing with wind-induced false alerts. The ability to draw a detection zone is a great feature, although adjusting points on the phone's outer edges can be cumbersome. A PC interaction option would be beneficial for certain tasks, as some actions are more convenient with a mouse. A notable feature request would be a scheduler to define "do not disturb" periods, especially during high-traffic times when unnecessary alerts are a hindrance. Lastly, the camera mounts require a firm tightening to prevent movement over time. Despite this, I highly recommend this system and plan on purchasing more units.

Highly recommended. Worth the investment.
I've been using the eufy SoloCam S40 for more than a year and I'm still enjoying its stability and durability. They recently released the eufyCam3 so I decided to upgrade my home security system a bit. This eufyCam 3 kit arrived 3 days ago. The setup process was easy and simple, I got them running in 10 minutes. So far everything is working fine. These 4K cameras are hawk-eyed and monitor everything happening around our home, which makes me feel at ease. I mean, image clarity is really important for a surveillance camera, and that's one of the reasons I chose to upgrade. Here I used it to take a photo of my succulents for reference. Note: the camera is not designed to monitor close objects, so anything 2 feet away should be in focus and sharp.) Apart from the very sharp image quality and AI features, the overall system seems to be of high quality. To name a few: the integrated solar cell is a clever design, eliminating the need for additional solar panels; The expandable storage means I can backup and store potentially unlimited video/photo footage securely (I have to delete some video recordings once for my SoloCam S40 due to storage limit); the wireless video sync latency has been optimized a lot, meaning the time from opening the eufy Security App to actually see the video is shortened; Finally, I would say the object detection algorithm is improved significantly as well. Now it can recognize pets, human (including faces), cars, way more accurate than the last gen. Then you have more control over the notifications and alarms. Although there are still some small bugs in the software, but they don't affect my impression of it. They are OTA FW upgrade resolvable. Another suggestion I have for them is to allow for more mounting choice, like adding a screw hole at the bottom.

Secured in 4K
These are great... I bought these for my house that we managing as an Airbnb. First of all going with solar was a great idea, I have never changed the battery in over a year and a half and it is always showing full. The video and audio quality is excellent, the night time mode is brilliant and the fact that there is no subscription is icing on top. The AI recognition is hit or miss but it does say it is in Beta. Notifications work great and the app for Android at least is great and easy to use. I like the fact that if needed I can grab video from the home base if needed onto a had drive or USB stick to turn into the police if someone was to come on our property. I wish I had bought a 4 pack back then because they are now more expensive. I will buy 2 more when my taxes come in. Great purchase. Also wish they had an outdoor/all weather doorbell.

Very good camera system, could be a bit cheaper
I have these cameras for about a week now. I must say they are very clear, much better quality than the blink. I like that app recovers from looking an alert and moving to a live view.. the blink is not good at that which led me to seek another system. You would get an alert and the live view would take a long time to load the people would be gone, the eufy does a great job at that. Now motion sensor does seem to work the way I like them to work. I added a picture of the booklet that says it will sense motion until you are in a certain area, i wish this could change. I know it would give a lot a false things but would be nice to see if you had an intruder or guest before they were that close to you house. I added a short video yo show how clear the cameras are, it did not pick that motion up i had to record manually. The blink picked it up. The sound and talking is okay, works fine i can hear conversations from a good distance honestly. I really like system it was an easy setup, charging is going well with the solar which is awesome and i only get a few hours of sun and its working, just the motion is not where i would like it. (I mean if an alien ship were to fly by i would like to have captured it 😁)

Solid product but geofencing doesn’t work properly
This is my first security system and I like that it’s self-monitoring. However, the geofencing function doesn’t always activate on its own and often I have to open the app to “wake” it to have it switch to home/away. Before I was accustomed to this issue, I walked into my own house to the alarm blaring several times. Also, I’ve been at work for a few hours only to realize that the system never switched to away mode and have to go into the app to activate it. It does some times activate on its own and all my phone settings are correct so I know it’s not the phone’s fault, but the Eufy App’s fault. If this geofencing function worked as it should, I might have given this product 4, maybe even 5 stars. Until Eufy fixes this issue, I cannot recommend Eufy as the choice for home security. Edit: I’m changing my review to 1 star as the Geofencing function is worst than I thought. I now have a roommate and GF doesn’t even activate and register his location when he opens his app. Perhaps it's because he has an Android, perhaps it’s because he’s not the primary person of the security system. Either way, it renders GF almost useless. Until Eufy improves its software, stay away and look to others for self-monitoring security systems.

Easy to install and No monthly fee.
I have this set for about 8 months now. The video is clear and it's easy to install (suggest to watch some installation videos on Youtube and read through the instruction in details in advance). I traveled out-of-state and aboard and never felt so relief that I am able to see what's happening around my house anytime I want. The night vision is very clear and I can turn on the light built in on the cameras is a plus. I have both cameras outside the house monitoring two side-doors which usually don't have much traffic unless someone has a reason to come close to those areas. The sensor is sensitive enough to trigger alerts for the pre-set activity zone(s). If you put it in front on a busy traffic area, you will receive lots of alerts to your phone and you can change the setting to reduce that sensitivity. Also, both cameras are within 25-ft from the S330 base and the Eufy base is directly connected to my internet router. I also has ATT fiber so I have to say my internet signal feeding to the Eufy system is rather strong. I am satisfy with these cameras and the system so far. It's been 8 months since I purchased the cameras set (S330 with 2-cam kit), the battery for both cameras are still showing full (note - both cameras able to receive sunlight 3 to 4 hours daily). Will monitor and update the review after twelve months. I noted other users have issue with drained battery and not able to re-charge after twelve-month usage. I am monitor this issue and hope it is not a widespread issue. I will recommend this to my friends and family.

Easy Peasy
I bought this with the Solo Cam so I had onsite storage, package deal. The only 'gripe' I can find is that on initial setup the cam has to be like 3 feet from the data terminal. This was an issue as we picked an upstairs location and I had to go up and down the stairs and I have COPD. BUT it works great, is so easy to set up. You can turn of motion activation if you choose for areas you populate until you leave. (We also have several wind chimes by one cam and can adjust just how much motion it takes to activate. Crisp, clear video. Tried how cam works at furthest location from data terminal and no loss of signal. Good stuff Maynard, I would buy again and I plan on another cam for one more outdoor location.

Honeymoon Phase... Over?
UPDATE 12/19/2022: >Bought this kit on the idea of having a wireless security camera system that is local without having to rely on the CLOUD. Guess what? The kit relies on using AWS servers so you could access your videos through the eufySecurity app. This would not be such a big deal if it was just for alerts and out-of-home access, but to upload my data as well as send them in plain-text traffic without encryption?! Sad... >I also setup the cameras so that at nighttime, the camera lights would turn on for motion detection or when live streaming. I have noticed a few times when it would turn on unprompted and no recording was saved. With all these recent vulnerabilities arising, I cannot help but be disappointed :( ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summary: >Rather than a 5-star, the new HomeBase 3 (S380) and eufyCam 3s (S330) are more like 4.5-stars. It is not perfect, but they work pretty well for what I need them for. There were some hiccups, but overall it was pretty easy to install and not much wiring/networking experience needed. So far so good; I will update with any major changes Pros: >HomeBase has an expanded storage option so it can save more videos >Detection of humans/pets/cars is surprisingly good. The AI recognition of faces is also terrifyingly accurate for the most part >The eufySecurity app is also pretty good and simple to navigate. Saving videos and screenshots were easy to do as well >The solar panels on the S330 charges pretty well. I saw one of them dip below 95% before during a cloudy day, but the next day, it was back up to 100% after being under the sun >The best part is how smooth the all the cameras reconnect to the HomeBase after a power loss. After a blackout, I did not have to do anything! Imagine having to go get a ladder, adjusting it so it is stable, unscrewing the cams all down, reconnecting them one-by-one to the HomeBase, and then putting them back up again while adjusting them to a good vantage point! Thankfully, I did not have to do all of that! Cons: >I had to register the 2 included S330s multiple times (I had to it like 6-7 times) before they connected to the HomeBase. While the additional kit of two S330s connected to the HomeBase seamlessly. So your YMMV >When capturing a clip, it takes the cams like 3-5 seconds before capturing a video >Ghosting happens if there is not enough light source during nighttime. See the included video (I recommend setting up the camera with the "spotlights turned on" or adding "more lighting" to prevent this) >Talking through the cameras automatically triggers the anti-theft alarm Other notes: >Although I praised the camera's detection ability, it took about 2 weeks or so of tweaking and whatnot before I finally got my desired settings. For instance, I got a cam in front of the garage. In the 1st week or so, for some reason, it was not detecting anything beyond 15 feet event though I maxed out the sensitivity settings and detection areas. But by the 2nd week, it started to detect people from the sidewalk and cars passing through the street so much that I had to tone down the settings. IDK, maybe the software in these needed some time to adjust or something >The cams be very sensitive to NON-human/pet/car motion (thankfully, this can be disabled) >Camera switches from automatic to manual recording when looking at the camera's live feed. It goes back to automatic recording again when you stop viewing the live feed

Best camera out there, expandable storage and with no monthly fee
Great system and a ton of options - reliable motion sense notifications - AI identification generally good - added a TB drive for tons of storage (hidden in my living room) - great to have no monthly cost - solar panel isn't all that useful with mine being installed under eaves, but with 8-10 x 30 second recorded clips trigger daily, they've lasted for months between charges. I just hooked up a portable charge bank for a couple hours to charge without removing.

Quase tão boa quanto a S3

No more monthly fees
Got these cameras because I didn't want to pay monthly fees for the blink/ring systems anymore. Although the initial pricepoint is higher it'll be worth it in the end since I won't be paying subscription fees going forward. The setup was very straightforward. The instructions are really clear if you follow the phone app and installation of the camera is a breeze since there's no wires. The longest part of the install was waiting for the cameras to fully charge before mounting them. After using this system for a month or so I'm really impressed. The app is great and the ability to live stream from your phone is fantastic. It's really fast, especially compared to the blink camera system. The video quality is really good so overall this system works perfect for my needs and would likely check most people's boxes for a wireless security system.
