Hello! Great question - thank you for asking! The source of this black tea is south-east China. The tea is then blended by a master tea blender in the USA, and individually hand packed in the USA in a resealable pouch to retain freshness. The packaging the tea comes in is also made in the USA.

So there is a caffeine additive in the tea bags? Or is it just natural tea?

Great question! Caffeine is added to the tea, using a proprietary process that equally distributes the caffeine evenly in each tea bag, as there is no tea that grows in nature that has the level of caffeine our customers love.

How many cups of this do you drink per day?

Personally? I drink two cups a day! The caffeine content per serving (per "cup") is 200 milligrams. The FDA says that you can safely consume about 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, but also recommends about 400 mg of caffeine as a daily limit for adults. Some people, more sensitive to caffeine, may choose to drink just one cup per day, or even half of one cup, and thensave the other half in the fridge for the next day! It's totally up to you!
