Inspired by the best-selling Primus Lite, Primus Kids gives young feet plenty of room to grow. Our classic flexible sole maximizes sensory feedback and is extra grippy for running wild through parks and playgrounds. Each pair uses PET plastic bottles, recycled into a durable yarn that creates a breathable mesh upper. The toggle-lace fastening makes it easy for kids to adjust on their own.

Love these shoes!
The shoes run slightly small compared to a shoe bought at say, Target, where my son would wear a 5.5, he can fit in the size 6 of the vivobarefoot shoes perfectly. I have bought several other pairs from this brand so I knew that going in. Love the shoes, my son loves wearing them. They are light weight and really durable.

Perfect for little ninjas!
Sole isn’t AS bendy as pictured but so far they are great! My son hasn’t even looked at any of his other shoes. These are perfect for his wide feet and super grippy, he’s climbing everything and has better balance!

Best kid’s shoe I have ever found, worth every penny
Omg these shoes. Airy, light, flexible, very easy for a 3 going on 4 year old to get on himself. They also looks very cool and stylish. And what I love the most is that any vivobarefoot kids’ shoe has a wide toe area for those kids toes unadulterated by years of wearing uncomfortable shoes to really be able to spread out. They absolutely and 100% can be worn over a bare foot too. My son hates socks with an ardent passion and he owns 3 different pairs of those and loves loves loves them. They also work great as an indoor Montessori shoe (Montessori parents will know what I’m talking about). The pic I’m enclosing is of a different VB shoe equally as great.

not very flexible
The soles on these shoes barely bend in the back two-thirds. On Vivobarefoot's website there is a photo that shows the shoe rolled up, which makes it look like the sole is very flexible. I have no idea how they managed to make it look this flexible. I love the style, colours, weight, zero drop and wide toe box, so am very disappointed by this.

Small sizing but otherwise great kid shoe
Loved these shoes but my 19 month old daughter who currently wears a size 5 in Bogs (with a bit of room to spare) could hardly get her feet into these size 21/5.5 equivalent Vivobarefoot Mini Primus shoes. Unfortunately we had to return them. It’s too bad too because we got a great deal and loved them! The mesh uppers are great for summer weather around the corner but aren’t too cool for spring. The sole could’ve been a bit thinner for our liking but they were plenty bendy and the navy and orange color combo looked even better in person than on the site. Such a shame as these are difficult to find shoes aside from the Vivobarefoot site where we’ll have to pay shipping. It’s especially frustrating because I measured against the size chart on the Vivobarefoot website and measured my daughter’s foot length in centimeters, so the shoe is waaay off of their own size chart. Oh well for us, but for others looking to buy this shoe, I highly recommend them but definitely size up!
