NEEWER Teleprompter X14 with RT-110 Remote & APP Control (Bluetooth Connection via NEEWER Teleprompter App), Portable No Assembly Compatible with iPad Android Tablet, Smartphone, DSLR Camera

Love this. Really good Teleprompter.

Great

The software for this device is terrible. I managed to get one script loaded. Its impossible to access, "site cannot be reached" errors on every device I've tried. So I can't edit the script in another program and reupload. I'm really disappointed with £200 spent on this device. I bought because of the remote and the software. Would have been better buying a cheaper brand. Have a look on the APP reviews for Google Play and APPStore, I'm not alone in this problem. It's killing my project.

My wife does a fair bit of presenting via video and recording videos for work, and being able to talk naturally while looking straight into the camera really helps to make it feel like she's connecting with you, rather than needing to keep looking away at her notes. We already had a much lower cost teleprompter for this exact reason and while it's been great, this one is much better made and more professional. With this and the video lights I've set up for her, it's starting to feel like a film studio in her office! The results are excellent though and I definitely think it's worth it to make her look as professional as possible. It comes in a lovely case, into which it folds really nicely. This is an improvement over the cheap one which wasn't so easy to put away and has no case so this is far easier to store, transport and set up quickly. In use, you need quite a strong tripod to put it on. The teleprompter itself is fairly hefty and once you add a camera, lens and tablet it's a fair bit of weight which might be off centre from the middle of the tripod (depending on your camera and tablet) so it'll need to be up to the job. The teleprompter app is quite well done. It's easy to add text to it and to get it displaying on the tablet with no fuss. The remote control works well and has all the important options laid out simply enough that you can use them without having to look at it once you remember which button does what. It's very easy. She finds it easy to use. She generally prefers to use it to display short notes rather than a full script since that allows her to talk more naturally than if every single word was written down, but she can still be sure of staying on topic since the basic structure of the presentation is there in front of her. In fact she says it's easier than just talking to a lens because it gives you a reason to look at it! The quality of the recordings from the camera is excellent with no sign of the teleprompter text showing through.

Neewer Teleprompter X14 with RT-110 Remote & APP Control I have to say that I have no experience whatsoever of setting up or using a teleprompter like this. What I will say is that I was surprised by the build quality of this and what you receive when it arrived. When I opened the box I was pleased to find a strong, expensive looking aluminium carry case that holds all the equipment securely inside. Inside the case you will find the teleprompter, remote control, cleaning cloth and user guide. The telepromter is supplied as a single unit, it is in a folded state when stored inside the case. Just lift the teleprompter from the case and fit to a sturdy tripod. This appears well made and is indeed heavy for it's size. When secured to a tripod a camera should be mounted on the rear looking through the teleprompter so that the presenter can look at the camera and also read what's on the display. Inside the supplied user guide is a link so that an app can be downloaded to your phone, both IOS or Android are supported. Once your phone is paired to the teleprompter the app can be used to enter text where it will then display on the teleprompter for the presenter to read. This would certainly be useful for a team to broadcast or record video, one person can be entering and updating text via the app where the presenter can then read it off the screen. If you have a use for this then I would say it's a fantastic bit of kit for the money. Yes £206.99 is a lot of money, but as this has a good size screen and comes with a strong aluminium carry case, I would say it's worth it. I never used a teleprompter before but seen some of the cheap versions. Certainly this is far better than those. As soon as you take it out of the box you can see a very well made aluminium carry case. It holds everything inside and looks expensive not cheaply built. All the equipments are protected by soft foam to avoid any mishaps or scratches. Instructions inside is very thorough and I was able to set it up very quickly. It comes with teleprompter, remote control, cleaning cloth and user guide. Teleprompter folds to store in the box and its a one single unit rather having lots of moving parts. Folding mechanism is smooth and works very easily. A camera is required to be mounted at the rear to enable presenter to look at the camera and read the disply. Teleprompter needs to be on a tripod which is required to purchase separately. Surprisingly it comes with an IOS or Android app and pairing with phone is easy and straightforward. You can enter text through the app which will display on the teleprompter for the presenter to read. This is a really useful feature as if someone working behind the stage can easily send text to the presenter. I was hoping for a seamless experience, but the NEEWER Teleprompter X14 falls short. The app controls are not great—the script either scrolls way too fast or too slow, making it tough to keep the right pace. On top of that, dealing with the cloth is a hassle. When filming a wider shot, you have to remember to pull the cloth out and zoom in slightly. If you forget and only catch it during editing, the dark cloth will show up, ruining your video. It’s a frustrating setup that requires more effort than I expected, which is why I can only give it two stars.

It’s very good, much better than anything I would have been able to make myself! This Teleprompter comes with its own strong carrying bag and includes a remote-control device, phone holder mount and instructions. That teleprompter makes a great impression in front of the camera. This piece of equipment is very useful for the streamer and filmmaker, fairly easy to use and quick to set up. The camera can be mounted landscape or vertically and you can also mount your phone as the camera. The writing is perfectly clear. The screen doesn't give any glare from any angles. Great top a quality product. Recommend it.

Amazing teleprompter. I think the best on a market. Amazing app, super cozy remote control and easy to use. Totally recommend

This teleprompter has made my talking to camera roles so much easier. It comes in a nice attache case that everything packs down into for storage when not being needed. There is a remote control included but it only works with iPads or Android tablets. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro so I used a Logitech R800 presenter remote instead. You can usually program different buttons for different functions within the teleprompter software, and the free one I got from the Windows store allowed any buttons to be linked to whatever functions. I had mine set up for stop / start / rewind and adjust speed, but it could be programmed for other functions. The unit is easy to set up. The tray comes out just over 20cm so was deep enough to take my Surface Pro 5, and should work with other regular sized tablets like iPads and Galaxy Tabs. There is a movable arm on each side which you can use for attaching lights or microphones on either the tripod mount or a cold show mount, although since the tripod mount has a female threaded fitting and most lights and microphone mounts also have a female threaded fitting, it would have been good if they'd included a male-male adapter as I had no way of attaching any of my devices to these arms. Underneath there are many tripod mounting screw positions of two different sizes to make it easy to position it correctly on your tripod. The hood on the back of the glass ties nicely around the lens on my Nikon DSLR and there are no reflections during use. The lens on my camera sat pretty low behind the screen, which means when I'm looking at the centre of the glass it appeared as though I was looking slightly above the camera. It would be good if it could be adjustable in height so you can position the lens in the centre of the glass. Overall very happy with this purchase.
