Good value and quality
This pair of speakers replaced a pair of Altec Lansings, one of which finally gave up the ghost after 30 years of service. The sound of the Logitech speakers is clean (my top criterion for all audio equipment), and if they are lacking some of the highs and lows, there's only so much a speaker this size and price can do. I like that the power switch/volume control can be accessed easily from the front. I connected them to a desktop using the enclosed speaker cable to keep my Bluetooth channels available. The right and left speakers are permanently connected by zip cord, but that fits right into how I place them, so no complaint. The one caution relates to how they were packed--it was difficult to remove them from the box. Once such a battle has started, it is too easy to grab onto some kind of hold on the speakers. That could lead to damaging the speakers before you've had a chance to hear them.

Great for laptop on AUX 3.5 mm jack AND another BlueTooth source (Google Nest Hub) at same time
UPDATE: These are the best speakers at this price point you can buy. Do it. I just did my 3 tests: 1) Dvorak Piano Quartet in D major; 2) Kinks "To the Bone" version of "Lola" and; 3) Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here". Tone, spatial BS..., whatever, these sound like music. Oh, the bass is lacking but, come on, look at the footprint. I don't know if you can DM here but if you buy these and don't like, I'd love to know. These are honestly very good. Nice to have the AUX 3.5 mm jack (patch cord included) to connect the laptop and Bluetooth for my Google Nest Hub. It plays both audio streams simultaneously with no mess and no fuss. Added the phone as a second Bluetooth source and I haven't quite figured out how to seamlessly switch between two BlueTooths using Logitech's "Easy‑Switch" technology but that is probably pilot error. Seems I end up disconnecting from one and connecting the Z207 to another in the phone's settings or the Google Home app as appropriate. No biggy. Awesome speaker solution even with my deficient operator skills. Sound is far more balanced (less tinny) than the laptop and the Google Nest Hub speaker. Built-in amp lets me fix low laptop volumes on some streamed content. I specifically looked for amplified speakers with a power brick and the AUX capability vs. a USB-only solution but that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

Ignore the audiophiles, these are just fine!
These are great speakers for the money. If you are an audiophile, stay away. There's nothing here for you.If you want something more than what your computer speakers can pump out, these are more than enough. The pretentiousness that the audiophiles love to talk about won't help you here. Everything here, from bass to treble, is present and accounted for. Nothing about these speakers is highly remarkable, but the music is bright enough not to sound bad. Very decent, just not fantastic. Hence, the 4 out of 5 stars. These speakers are very average and won't blow your socks off, but for the price you pay, the volume is plenty loud. Makes my desk vibrate a little bit through the giant mouse pad they are sitting on.The picture doesn't do the size of them justice. They are 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide (more or less). Make sure you have enough space to put them somewhere. They are connected by a cable that is about 3.5 feet long, so you have enough length to at least fit them into a dual monitor setup.

Excellent Bluetooth+Wired Computer Speakers / General Purpose Small Speakers. Going 6+ Years Strong
I own two of these. They are my favorite speakers ever owned!I bought the first for $40 in 208 when my old Altec Lansing computer speakers finally gave out after ~9 years (due to a faulty cord, which I could have fixed, but I wanted something bluetooth.) and I'm very happy with them. They're largeish, but the size is mostly vertical so they don't take up much space on a desk. The built-in stand makes each speaker fairly stable: if they get knocked over, it'll be to the side, but even there they are quite stable.Bluetooth works great. I bought these because they had both a wired and bluetooth connection, and both connections work just fine. There's a headphone jack in the front of the speaker, which I have used just to test it out (and it works), but I never actually use it. I have connected these to both my laptop and phone, and I've now used them with multiple laptops and multiple phones over the years, and they work seamlessly with both. I'm often surprised at how far I can walk away from these with my phone, without the sound quality deteriorating at all. Like I've hosted parties and played a playlist from my phone and I walk around the house and even go outside and you can go surprisingly far away before it starts glitching or getting scratchy.Sound quality is excellent for this price range. Bass is surprisingly good for a system without a subwoofer. I am really impressed. It does sound thin relative to systems with a subwoofer, but I have never found a speaker with better bass that is not either much larger or much more expensive.I find it odd that people are complaining that these aren't loud enough: what are you trying to use them for? It's a $40 pair of computer speakers for a desk: what do you expect? I have a huge living room and they fill the room even without turning them up fully. If I turn these up the whole way, it's loud enough that it's unpleasant to stand right next to them, and perhaps loud enough that the cops might get called. Yes, these wouldn't be suitable to host a dance party in a large hall, but they're plenty loud for what they're sold as: certainly able to go a lot louder than a lot of computer speakers in a similar price range.I'm very happy and I recommend these highly. My first pair of these has lasted nearly 7 years and is still going strong. I bought a second pair. The price has now gone up to just over $60 but it's still a good deal at this price. The old pair has no issues with the exception that the LED light no longer switches between blue (when connected to bluetooth) and green otherwise. Instead it just always shows green. However this is a minor complaint. I'm happy when a piece of electronics lasts 6+ years, and I'm cautiously optimistic that I'm going to get many more years out of these.

Very Good Speakers
These speakers are great. Very easy to pair with my Mac mini and the sound is good. I've seen a few "audiophile" type reviews but I don't think anyone is going to use them for high-end recording. These are a vast improvement over the small speaking in my Mac and that's exactly what I was hoping for.
