It's heavy enough to be easy to use. LOVE the color and size is perfect for what i mostly use it for! Only thing is change is the pestle ... it should be heavy like ones made out of marble/stoneReceived it quickly and packaging was very sturdy ... absolutely kept it from getting damaged.

I purchased this particular mortar and pestle because of the beauty of it and because of the positive reviews for grinding and containing the ingredients within the cup. I’m using it to grind things like cardamom, cinnamon, and black peppercorns for a detox tea that I make and I am 100% happy with it.
