I've used a lettuce knife for years. When my old, old one broke, I replaced it with this one. It's larger and can handle more lettuce. It keeps my lettuce from browning as quickly as if I had used a metal knife. Very good!

I like the orange color salad knife. I just got it. It feels good in your hand the serated part of the knife seems good.not sharp but would be good for lettuce and cutting brownies in your ceramic dish or glass dish with out scratching your dishes. It is sturdy. Nice size. Its worth the money. Would buy again.

I order this knife as I heard these type of knives when chopping lettuce or leafy greens reduce browning so produce last longer should you have extra greens leftover from salad and you store leftovers for future use.I found that using this knife did spice thru lettuce, easily and reduce browning of lettuce. The cost for knife is perfect however I’m not sure if dishwasher safe and how long sharpness will last. Plus if I can use my knife sharpener on this plastic knife should it become dull. No instructions were included in box when knife arrived so it’s a wait and see.

I am very happy with this purchase. These knives have worked well for the times I have used them. I did notice that my lettuce didn’t get the brown edges that can happen with a regular knife.

These knives cut very well and cleanly. And I don’t get that red tint to the lettuce as soon as I did with ordinary knives.

I'd read that if you cut with metal, your lettuce turns brown. That you should use plastic, so I got these, and they work great. Definitely a great purchase

I have been looking for this in stores for several years (I live in a smaller community) to the point my husband thought that I was imagining them! They work well and are in lovely bright colours! The last 2-3 inches are too broad to fit into my knife block, but non-rusty lettuce is a well worth placing in a drawer.

This knife is perfect for salad preparation. We bought it to replace another one, which broke because of its 2 piece construction. This one piece item cuts extremely well with little force required.., Talking lettuce in this remark.
