I’ve been using the Anihana Lavender & Rosemary Shampoo Bar for a few weeks now, and I’m so impressed! It’s specifically designed for thin, fine, and oily hair, which is exactly what I have, and it works wonders. The fragrance is amazing—soothing lavender mixed with fresh rosemary—but it’s not overpowering at all. It leaves my hair smelling light and fresh throughout the day.What I love most is how lightweight the formula is. It cleanses without weighing my hair down or leaving any greasy residue. My hair feels fuller, lighter, and truly refreshed after each wash, and I can go longer between washes now. No heavy build-up like with some other shampoos.The ingredients are top-notch too—vegan, cruelty-free, and free from all the harmful chemicals I try to avoid (no SLS, parabens, or silicones). Plus, this bar lasts forever! I’ve already used it several times, and it’s barely made a dent. I love how each bar lasts at least 80 washes, which means no more plastic bottles cluttering up my bathroom. Even the packaging is compostable, so it’s guilt-free, sustainable, and eco-friendly.It’s also great to support a family-owned business like Anihana. Quality is great. My hair always looks soft, shiny, and clean. All their hair products are very easy to use, whether you just put them straight onto your hair or rub them into your palms first, it works either way. But this specifically is the conditioner, and I think it works better for me to put the conditioner bar straight onto my hair. It smells good, and it lasts a long time! I wash my hair every day, so it lasts less long for me than it probably will for you. When you get down to the end of the bars, I recommend getting little soap baggies that are meant to hold the bars, so that when they start to break apart and disintegrate, you still get use out of them. The ones I use with my soaps are from Kitsch. But I like these hair products better than Kitsch's personally, just Kitsch's soap accessories are nice, like the caddy that holds the soap, the baggies, and the travel containers.

I've gotten into shampoo and conditioner bars recently in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. I've been using the Ethique bars, which I love, but they are just so expensive. I was looking for a cheaper alternative that was still mostly natural and cruelty-free and found these. These bars do have a couple of synthetic ingredients so they're not all natural, but I suspect that is why they are priced a little bit lower?... I also noticed that these lather a lot more than the other brand I mentioned. These lather more like a traditional bottled shampoo. That does mean that this bar will get me a lot more washes than the competitor bar will.They smell amazing (I bought the grapefruit chamomile) and did a great job cleaning my oily, fine hair. And they do the trick with no plastic, no animal testing, and vegan ingredients. I will definitely keep buying these and am anxious to try some of the other varieties. (I paired this one with the honey vanilla conditioner which was also great)

This works great for me! My husband loves the smell too, so that's a bonus ^.^ I did find that I had to drop my after-shower hair oil routine though as this already has oil in it. Less work for me! I also learned that whereas there is no such thing as overdoing it with traditional conditioner, with bar conditioner like this there is definitely a limit. My sweet spot is a light swipe on the inside and outside of my hair split in half and a fifth swipe down the inside-back of my hair. As you can see in the picture, it helps my hair look beautiful, healthy, soft, and shiny in just the right way!UPDATE: I have since come to realize that while I am already prone to acne on my neck, this conditioner unfortunately made it a little worse. I have stopped using it since it does not work for my skin, but if acne is not as much of an issue for you then I still recommend it!

This shampoo bar lathers up so quickly and nicely, and leaves my hair clean and smelling great. It also lasts a really long time, and I love that it’s better for the environment, since it’s packaged in cardboard and ships as dry weight, unlike shampoo in a plastic bottle where most of what you are shipping is water. And I add it to my regular monthly subscription box, so it just fits in a box that’s already coming to my house. I set it for the longest allowed subscription time period, 6 months, but it’s never finished by then so I just skip it to another month a few times until I’m ready for it.

The conditioner bar has a strong scent. I tried it a couple of times and the smell is still present in my hair hours later but it's not as strong as the smell from the bar. The conditioner worked okay. I prefer how my hair feels after using a liquid conditioner so I won't purchase again.

Good size bar. Gives my hair nice body. And feels soft. Plus I love no plastic bottle. Also have the shampoo bar. Nice smell.

I had never tried a conditioner bar before, so I was worried that it wouldn't work well for my thick hair. Regular conditioners are usually not hydrating enough, so I have to use deep conditioners in the shower. However, this conditioner bar has been working really well, even better than liquid conditioners! It is very easy to use, leaves my hair hydrated and shiny, and smells great! I would definitely recommend.
