Fun game for family get togethers

We've owned the original game for 20+ years maybe closer to 30 and it's my absolute favorite game because it's easy to learn, there's few arguments over the scoring, it's a fun group activity and I just happen to be really really good at it. There's not a lot of group laughter with this game though if that's what you're looking for but I haven't met anyone who doesn't enjoy playing it. It's sort of like playing 20,000 pyramid if you remember that game show and somehow been living in a cave and haven't played this for the last 30 years (I just found one friend who hadn't, go figure). So at a recent game night we realized we have to update our old one because the timer doesn't work, the buzzer doesn't work, we're getting to know the cards a bit too much, and some of them are just too old for anyone under 60 (like Cary Grant, et. al). I was excited for the newest version but... The buzzer is cheap, sometimes it doesn't go off or barely. They didn't supply a card holder. The old version had a device that holds a few dozen cards with a flip up holder so you can put the card you're working on in there and stare at it easily without your fingers getting in the way. Then you can gesture with the other hand even though that's against the rules ;-) That is a major blow IMO and probably Hasbro's way of cost cutting. So I have the old version still, simple solution is to use that card holder right? Nope, the new cards are a smidgen too big to fit. So I guess we're supposed to put the cards in a stack on the table to play. That's cheap Hasbro come on! They also removed the score card pads. No big deal, use scrap paper but it annoys me that Hasbro is going cheap. I'd gladly pay $5 more for these items. Anyway, the game is great, if you don't own it, it's a must in your closer for family game night!

Such a great party game. We played it at Christmas and had a blast. There are a tonne of cards which is great and the addition of the buzzer makes for more laughs.

I've played this game a few times at friends' get togethers and finally got it for myself. Packaging was perfect, everything looks great, super excited to host a games night and play. The words are kid friendly for family games night too but might be difficult for anyone under 10.

Bought this as a Christmas present, had a lot of fun playing it on boxing day - brings out the competitive side in people. Highly recommend, good clean fun for the whole family.
