Motion Sensor Lamp, USB Lamp Include Warm White Bulb, Fabric Shade Lamp Built in USB Port & AC Outlet, Bedside Lamp Idea for Bedroom Retro Cream

I'm writing this review because I could not find any additional information about the motion sensor part of this lamp. We have an annoying set up in our foyer where the only light is a very bright overhead light that is turned on from the living room. Which means at night, there's no immediate light to turn on when you come in the main door. This room is also all windows so I was concerned about the sensor going off with every movement outside (it doesn't). This lamp works really well for exactly what we need it for. When you enter the room, the light turns on for as long and you're in there then about 30 seconds if it no longer senses movement. It is not super bright but puts off a nice soft light, bright enough to shed a coat and kick off shoes before entering the house. Our foyer is small, but it seems to sense not too far, maybe 10' max? And it's on a table by the wall so the dogs walking past don't trip it either, except when they are being crazy. Only issue- when on sensor, it is not ambient light-dependent, meaning it will turn on the light even in the middle of the day, but that's fine. The on/off/sensor switch is easily located on the base, not the cord, which is nice. The instructions on the listing say the one-line on the switch is for the sensor, but on our lamp, it's the two-lines setting that is for the sensor. We turn it off if we're going to be in and out of the house repeatedly during the day, but otherwise, leave it set to sensor. The extra plug and USB charging port are also very nice. This was literally the only sensor lamp that looked like a regular lamp in all the searches I did, except for crate and barrel that had a light for $100+. So good price for the features. It only showed up last week, so I'll update if there's any issues with quality etc.

Bought this for my elderly father who lives with us. He survived two strokes and and has been diagnosed with onset dementia. He is able to get around with the aid of a walker. Unfortunately he forgets how to turn his bedroom light on and off. This little lamp works perfect for him in the middle of the night while the rest of us are asleep. I have it positioned on a night stand near his bed and angled towards his door. It picks up when he sits up in bed and also when he is returning to his room. Best of all it’s shuts off automatically. The lamp is smaller than I expected and the supplied bulb was not as bright as I thought it should be. But after two weeks using the supplied bulb it is perfect. It’s neither too bright when his dog triggers the sensor, nor is it too dim when he needing to use the bathroom at night. The bulb is brighter than your standard wall-plug-in night lights and the lamp size is small enough not to take up too much room on the nightstand. It does have the option to manually turn the light on and off and could work as a reading lamp. We haven’t used the ac and USB ports on the side but like the added option. Overall, for our application, the price, size and functionality of this lamp works exactly as we hoped for.

My lamp is only two months old and the sensor stopped working. My other one is fine and I love it. Not sure why the one doesn’t work properly.

I bought this lamp for our small (dark) pantry. I would have to have a light on to get things while making meals or just putting away groceries but, then would forget to turn off the light. This lamp solved that. I simply walk into the pantry, with my hands full, the light comes on automatically. I do what I need to do, then the light automatically turns off. It’s really a time saver and very convenient. I’m thinking of buying another one for the end of a dark hallway.

Turns on automatically when it detects motion and turns off after 30 seconds. Just bright enough that you can see where you are going in the middle of the night .

Mom knocked it off the table, 85 yr old needs the light before she gets up. Great lamp, sensor works great. Just need the bulb for it as it broke when it fell. Anyone know the exact bulb type, number, I would be so thankful. Company doesn't respond to messages about bulb reference ID info.

Great addition to a dark room if you don’t want to turn on a bright light. It’s a soft light that comes on when you walk into a room and stays on a short time. If it goes off just wave your hand in front of it and it will come on again.
