This set is fantastic. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. Our child is passionate about animals and having these figurines for creative, imaginative play is a benefit that I can't seem to find the words to accurately explain. The map included has sparked impromptu tests of knowledge, both for our children and for ourselves, and led to other animals being discussed (or added from other sets). I will say, it's a bummer to have a whale pictured on the world map but not included in this set. That's really my only downer. The sound square is also rather quiet, which I would probably appreciate more if my own children were not already so loud. Still, if you have a child who loves to build and create, both by instruction or on their own, and is passionate about animals, this set is definitely one to consider.

I would absolutely recommend this set! As others have mentioned this box is much bigger than it seems online. Its a super cute set for your little Lego lovers. There are lots of different habitats included with the corresponding animals (vibrant and fun colors). Perfect for fostering their imagination and learning through play. Everything is well made and easy for young kids (even toddlers) to put together. If your trying to decide whether to buy this, just buy it! You'll love it!

Endless hours of fun and education. The map of the world adds a fun an educational element to this very large set of colorful pieces.

This was an Xmas present for a two year old. OMG, what excitement and joy finding each animal as we opened the poly bags. Took me back to my LEGO kid days, opening and building on Xmas and birthday. There wasn't much building from a two year old, but the animals are all one piece and Auntie gave the Vetenarian set, so the Dr. could tend to all the animals, which I guess end up being a zoo, even though I think the set is supposed to be out in various types of nature. The tree elements are fun and we have a blast with all the flowers. Overall, this was an impulse buy from Amazon, because, while I'm a big fan of LEGO, I had no idea this set existed, never seen it in a store (Target / Walmart, etc.) and didn't see it on LEGO.com. Super fun.

This set is so much fun! The animals are adorable and my kids love building everything and the map that goes along with it.

Our baby is a bit too young to play with these yet, but it’s been a blast for mom, dad, grandma and family to play with too! The jungle sounds from the sound button block is such a hoot, the one thing our baby cares about so far!

Awesome gift for 20 month old. She loved all the animals. The pieces are good size. Super bright fun colors. The map included is great for interactive playing. She looks for the animals on the map and puts the duplo animals where they belong. My older children get creative and build different things from the duplos-youd be surprised what a few trees could all become! Don't regret this purchase at all!

These were a bit pricey, but so cute! We divided the set up into multiple gifts for our little nieces and nephews. There is a lot in this box!
