These are very comfortable, pretty stretchy, fit seems true, no defects, look nice on, seem like they will be perfect for travel this summer.

Lightweight and comfortable. Great for walking or hiking. They can be rolled up into a very small package for packing. The elastic waist is nice and secure without being too tight. It does have belt loops if you need them. One of the features I like most is the heavy duty button closure. It is a metal button similar to a popular brand of jeans. I am a 36 waist and bought a X-large as they tend to run small. These were best purchased on sale. I now have 4 pair. They only received a 4 star rating until I see how long they last.

My teenage son loves these shorts. They have lightweight, flexible fabric and are thus comfortable like athletic shorts, but they look a little dressier. The zippered pockets are really handy for securing phone, wallet, and keys. While these shorts come folded really tiny and hold wrinkles through the first washing, I gave them a light ironing before the first wear and they haven't had wrinkling issues since then. My son wears about a 32x34, and he had gotten a size small of the non-cargo style for an outdoor summer job that required golf shorts; since he said he wanted them a little roomier in the seat and longer in the rise, I got a medium this time. I ended up tacking the waist about a half-inch on each side so the pants wouldn't sag with his phone and wallet in the pockets, but since he wears his shirts untucked, it's an invisible fix. I was worried that the material would rip easily since it is thin, but his summer shorts still look great except for minor pilling in one spot where he consistently rubbed against a countertop (and since that was true of all his work shorts, I don't fault the fabric/company for that). Those who object to the look of an elastic waist might not like these, though the front is not elastic and wearing a belt (there are belt loops) would largely cover the back. Again, since my kid wears his shirts untucked, the elastic is comfortable for him and doesn't affect the appearance (especially if you're happy with the look of athletic shorts). If you prefer thicker fabric or the look/feel of khaki shorts, these would also not be a winner for you, as the material is definitely more on the thin athletic side. If you, like my kid, want to look a little less casual than athletic-wear but hate the constrictive feel of jeans or khakis, these might be a winner.

These are very lightweight and comfortable. I found their fit to be true to size. I personally like having the zipper pockets. One of my friends was pick-pocketed when we were in Barcelona on the subway, but I think the zippers saved me. It is also quick drying and I like the colors.

These shorts look great but the durability isn’t great. They ripped in the pockets a few months into use and the rubber bit on the zipper came off as well. They are however a great fit, have a good stretch and breath well.

Lovely and light

Had these shorts for two months, worn and washed many times and they still look new. Material is light weight, but never creases, always looking sharp. Waist has full elastic so fits comfortably. Zip pockets work well.
