Nice, but not worth it for us.
It is a nice faucet and appears to be good quality, but it definitely takes getting used to.The style is great for what we wanted, but the features can be extremely frustrating or not functional for your setup.First, the touch on/off. This is a nice feature to have while you are there working at the sink. The ability to just tap the metal parts of the faucet to turn the water on/off is quite handy at times. However, it is also a curse. We frequently turn the water on and either accidentally tap part of the metal somewhere, which shuts the water back off, or water drips on it and turns it back off, or it automatically turns off after a period of time. This definitely took getting used to and figuring out where we can/cannot touch to turn it on/off. The sprayer is connected by the hose and plastic, so touching that does not turn it on/off.Voice control: While this is pretty neat to play with, the sink must be in the on position for it to work. We don't quite trust leaving the valve open on the sink at all times to be able to use this functionality. PLUS, we are on well water and have a reverse osmosis filtration system under our sink and we use that filtered water for drinking/cooking, etc. Although we purchased the matching reverse osmosis beverage faucet, that one does not have voice control, so telling the faucet to run 1 cup of water would be awesome, we can't really use it.We really like the LED light that indicates the water temperature. For the install, there are many hoses and cables running under our sink, and this faucet has several hoses, power cable, battery pack cable, and control boxes that can easily be tangled up (or easily caught by the weighted hose for the spray nozzle). I purchased a tension curtain rod to install at the back of the sink cabinet to help separate all the hoses, wires, drain pipes, so the weighted hose for the pull-down nozzle doesn't get stuck. That greatly improved the frustration of having to go under the sink to move things around so the pull-down would fully retract. So, overall, it is a nice fauct that has been working great, but I would not buy it again since we are not able to fully benefit from many of the features.

If you love technology you will love this! (Alexa Model Review)
UPDATE 2 - I have no experience with the Moen U faucet with Alexa voice control but it seems to be a superior product. You can request water to be dispensed at a specific temperature and it has a companion app. After two years I still like my Delta faucet but if I was buying one today I think I might get Moen's faucet. I paid the price of being an early adopter and missed out on superior updates. Hopefully Delta can provide firmware/software updates to match Moen's feature set.UPDATE - After having this for one year, and having extensive experience with a no-touch faucet (where you just wave your hand to turn it on & off), I retract all of my criticisms of the touch operation of the faucet. With a little bit of practice, it is rare that I accidentally turn the water on or off. I believe the faucet is calibrated for .3 seconds, meaning if the touch is less than .3 seconds the water flow will turn on/off. But if the touch lasts more than .3 seconds the water will not turn on/off. It doesn't take long to get the hang of this and make sure your hand stays on the faucet just long enough not to inadvertently start or stop the water flow.In comparison, the no-touch faucets are slow and clunky. You have to place your hand in just the right place to activate them. And you can't quickly turn the water on and off if you want to. Once you have turned the water on it takes a few seconds before you can turn the water off. And it requires an extra movement that you wouldn't normally make to wave your hand under the faucet. With this Delta, you just touch the water control handle or touch the faucet anywhere and the water comes on. It's much more elegant in operation. And they don't have a light to indicate the water temperature.I have raised my rating to 5 stars.Original review:There are two things to talk about with this faucet:1) Touch operation - The touch operation woks as you would expect. Comes on when you touch it and turns off when you touch it again. However, there is a big annoyance with this. If you want to move the spout the water will shut off every time. Also, the water control lever also turns the water on and off so if you want to adjust the temperature or flow rate while the water is flowing, you will shut the faucet off. Then you have to turn it back on. Want to adjust it again? You're going to turn the water off again. I hate this. A lot.The water control handle should be deactivated so that touching it doesn't turn the water on or off. Or at the very least the touch control should not turn the water off when the faucet is on. This is stupid design. For this reason I would advise you to get a no-touch model made by other manufacturers. With these models you wave your hand in a certain area and that turns the water on and off. Touching the faucet or water control doesn't do anything. This is MUCH better.Right now this is the only voice activated faucet but Kohler is coming out with an Alexa enabled faucet soon (called Kohler Konnect) I don't know if that is a touch or no-touch faucet; if it is no-touch then I would DEFINITELY get that over this.2) Alexa operation - This is really cool and I like it. The critique I have is that it doesn't understand fractions. You can't say "pour a half cup" you have to say "pour four ounces". Delta can easily do something about this. The other annoying thing is you have to prefix everything with "Alexa, ask Delta to..." and I'm thinking there is a way for Delta to fix this as well. I don't have to jump through that hoop for other Alexa enabled devices I have. These things aren't deal breakers and it's possible the coming Kohler faucet will have the same issues. In summation, a touch operated faucet sounds like a good idea in theory. It works exactly as you would expect which isn't such a good thing. I'd like to make adjustments to temperature, flow rate and position without turning the faucet on/off every darn time I touch it. For this reason a no-touch faucet is far superior in my opinion. So based on my experience I would give this three stars. But to be fair, it works exactly as advertised so I can't deduct a star because I just don't like it. Just know what you are getting into before you buy this.

Delta Trinsic VoiceIQ Touchless Kitchen Smart Faucet, Alexa Voice Activated, 9159TV-DST, nice, BUT
I had a plumber install, and test with me this elegant faucet. Touch -less is terrific. Delta agrees faucet is connected to my wi-fi & turned it on remotely. Delta AND AMAZON agree it IS LINKED TO my Amazon Alexa. Alexa responds & states all available commands & then to ANY voice command says "an error occurred."Fifty minutes on the phone with Alexa's lovely "Ivy" accomplished no progress. She promised research & a call back 18 hours ago. I only paid this crazy price to have all the bells & whistles. I love the mechanics of the faucet, but, do not like Alexa's interface, or lack of help. Hope they resolve this, and SOON!UPDATE: Another call to Delta revealed that Delta's Voice IQ technology has been down since mid-September! They have no estimate on the time until it is fixed or when ALL VOICE IQ Faucets again will work. And, they have no plans to notify users! Not what I expect from Delta.

Great
I was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted in a store but this is it. I love that you can tap it to turn it on and off, it’s really a game changer if you like to cook and always get your hands in everything!

Love everything about our Delta faucet!
We haven’t had our faucet installed for long, but so far I have had no complaints. The install was not difficult and the faucet seems to be very good quality. I love the sleek, simple look of it - it fits perfectly into our new kitchen.Update:Amidst our kitchen Reno’s, at some point the sprayer attachment got scratched right on the front. I was super upset but ended up sending in a customer service request on Delta’s website. I asked what the process would be to fix this - either touch up paint (was hoping this would not be the solution) or I requested to know how much a replacment would be. I never received an email reply, but I did receive a package in the mail and it was the whole sprayer nozzle piece! I am blown away by Delta’s customer service.

Simple and elegant.
I like the magnetic pull down sprayer. Easy to install. Looks elegant. Faucet handle feels light to adjust and therefor possibly easy to break at some point in the future. I did not like the sliding weight for the pull down sprayer. I used a fixed weight from my previous tap that I replaced. The sliding weight makes some noise when sliding over the hose and I doesn't give the firm feeling that a fixed weight on the hose does. Overall, great faucet.

Very high quality, a small trick required to avoid loose handle
Good high-quality faucet. We are picky people and are happy with this. Only small gripe is the handle becomes loose because of a screw-type mechanism that screws right into a hard metal knob. Because these are two hard metals with a coarse screw thread it tends to come loose over time.To fix loose handle pull off logo near handle, unscrew, pop off cap, add something semi-hard between the end of the screw and the metal knob it presses into. I suggest a small piece of hard rubber or something. Then put it back together. It's hard to explain but obvious when you see it.

Great product!
We renovated the kitchen and went with black hardware. To match, we wanted a black kitchen faucet that was stylish and functional. I did a considerable amount of research as there are dozens of different makes and models with a lot of good reviews. We went with the Delta Trinsic because of the good reviews and the looks (which we preferred). We’ve been using it for about 2 months and it works great. It’s very well constructed and the faucet head quickly snaps back into place after use. The spay function is a narrow stream compared to our previous unit but nothing that affects the performance (it’s just different). We are very happy with the product and look forward to many years of use.
