This pad looks great on my natural wood desk and helps to protect it. I don't use this for gaming, I use it for work, video editing, podcasting, CAD design, so it gets a lot of daily use. I have tried a number of wireless mice and they don't seem to work too well on this pad. I have to have my current mouse tethered to a power cable as shown in the attached image.This issue forced me to purchase different mice, all of them react in the same way, but it is my preference to use a wireless mouse.The additional issue is that you have to keep the mouse in a direct position as you pick and drag, if you turn the mouse slightly you drop the files. This is a pad issue, not a mouse issue. The mice work on all other surfaces as they should. You also have to have a light source that reflects on the pad for a wireless mouse to work.This pad wears very well, in fact I can see no wear on the surface.A note to the manufacturer - if you sell a smaller mouse pad that could stick on this pad, that is white, it would resolve the issue. Don't sell it as an extra, include it for the customer to place as desired. The pad looks great and wears well.

Pleasant smell... nice texture... nice looks... really slick. Size as requested. I was excited about my desk's new look, and when I tried to move the mouse, it felt like I was pushing ice skates on wood.I have a MX Master 3 for Mac mouse.I just couldn't get used to the amount of pressure I had to apply to move it. It's not the end of the world, but if you work all day with your mouse (yes you do), then you might find this desk protector to add a bit tension to your day.

Covers a beloved old wooden desk top easily. Hides a multitude of sins, including cigaret burns, scratches, etc. Unrolled and laid flat easily and fully on arrival. Makes a old desk attractive, except their stupid branding which I covered with printer, and works great with my optical mouse.Seller, you'd have a five star review with your ugly huge branding. Also, try a dark brown color choice too.

I bought this to protect my office desk, not to use as a game pad. I do CAD work so it works just great.Many of my clients like it and plan to buy for themselves...maybe I should ask for a commission. :)
