Absolutely the right component for my cistern tank system. I regret not purchasing earlier, the solenoid water valve developed problems after particulates gummed up fast acting valves. It's worth the money if this product survives longer than 3 weeks, the ball valve choice and slow acting looks like it will do the job.

I ordered this valve to be able to drain our pool when we received too much rain while we were traveling. I connected the power (115 Volts) to a wi-fi switch that I would turn on and off. What a great product. As soon as you apply 115 volts it opens, although slowly about 30 seconds and then closes when you removed power. Its well made and can be used outside.

Used this with a smart Google plug to turn on and off my aerator on pool. Easy to install and works every night like advertised. Easy to wire up the two wire lead.

used it on a compressor air line that I always forgot to turn off. Wired it into shop light circuit. Turn off shop lights airline closed.

We bought this to keep as a spare. We installed it when our other failed on our rotary drum filter. It worked well for less than a month, then failed. Disappointing that it didn't even make it 6 months in service.

do not know the longevity yet but the wire description should be included for wiring into the 120v yellow was hot and blue was the neutral wire.
