I fell in love with these mugs as soon as I saw them and had to order them. I ordered the California Teal, and it was a greenish blue; the finish is not glossy, but more matte, giving the mugs an earthy look.They are very high quality, durable, have a heavy feel, and remind me of handcrafted pottery. They feel earthy, organic, and original.Just a short side note, the manufacturer lists the mugs as having a 20 ounce capacity. Me being me, I decided to check. So I measured, and each mug has the capacity to hold 18 ounces, a 2 ounce difference. Not a big deal, but something to know.Nonetheless, I am very happy with my mug set.I plan to use my Riverside mug set for everyday use. But they are so attractive, I will be pleased to use them to serve guests.

From design, color choice, all the way down to how they packed them into the box.I was originally put off by the size. 20 oz is big. But I am slowly getting over it. These are definitely big enough for all the caffeine in the world. And maybe even a cup of nice steaming chicken noodle soup on a cold day.These stoneware mugs are stackable-ish. The handle loop is comfortably sized so that when you hold it in your hands, the mug feels secure in your hands. This big boy ain't going nowhere in your grasp.Beautifully crafted, wonderful to behold. LOVE IT.

When I received these mugs, I almost had a my first ever heart attack! I heard that "crunchy" noise as when chinaware broken pieces rub together. I thought to myself, "well, I guess my mugs arrived broken"...However, they all but one were intact...The fourth one had a little chipped edge at the bottom. Since it is claimed that they are chip resistant, I do not understand about the chipped edge. Still, I wanted to give this mugs the highest rating because I love the teal speckled matte finish. But then, since this is claimed to be hand crafted by skilled artisans, I did not expect the rim edges to have so many flaws in term of the brown painting.

These mugs are great, they are wide and thick!They are super easy to hold and sturdy. You can put coffee, tea, soup any liquid!The color on these mugs is beautiful! It's light pink and the top is a little darker for some contrast.The body of the mug has little freckles as well and is pretty smooth. I wish the mugs were a tiny bit taller but hold a pretty good amount of liquid.

I’m a coffee enthusiast, and let’s face it, oversized coffee mugs just make my heart happy, so I didn’t hesitate to order when I came across these beauties. They have some weight to them, and a lovely matte speckled finish. They feel like a quality handcrafted product. I can’t speak to the “chip resistant” claim (I like them far too much to test that out), but I can say that I don’t fear putting them in the dishwasher or microwave. The turnaround time for shipment was extremely quick, and they were securely packaged to make it there in one piece… if you love coffee the way I do, you’ll love having these oversized mugs in your collection!
