I wanted to make my basement staircase hallway not look so plain and unfinished. It was just white paint with a lightbulb that stuck out sideways from a socket. So I found the perfect peel n stick paper for the rustic look I wanted and then searched for the perfect light fixture. I didn't like the "cage" look with the raw looking light bulb, so when I saw this one, I thought it would be perfect. It is. The wood plaque, the iron arm, the wavy glass all give it an old rustic look. And the bonus is the way the bulb makes a star effect on the ceiling. I am just so pleased. Very reasonably priced and very easy to install. Thank you!!

Goes extremely well with my home decor just redid my rear entry area and put this light in and it goes extremely well with everything! If ur looking for a rustic light this is a must I highly recommend! I also bought an antique bulb from my local Lowes store to add to the rustic touch! I couldn’t be happier. You also can mount it with bulb facing down if you wanted that look as well!

The overall look is spot on to the ad, but still has same flimsy brackets as all the rest of the garbage from China these days. Issues with aligning mounting bracket to standard screw offsets in standard USA outlet box and getting the mounts aligned horizontally. Same garbage light socket and glass retaining nut as the rest of the Chinese crap. Glass is definitely one of the better, thicker and better authentic look. Better packaging, which has a better chance of getting to you not broken.

Bought this as a warehouse close out deal and it really looks great. Easy to install prefercthe look with a clear bulb versus an Edison type bulb.

Looks great classic old time look for my entry hall, ya some say real wood would be nice but that would make the price probably triple. Mine is pretty high up so its hard to tell.Drawbacks to me is the mounting screws are too short for my electrical box in the wall, I made it fit but just barely, had to cut the heads off as well, other thing is you show a nice bulb but really? I have to shop for a light bulb?I put a level on the top of the glass to make it even but the metal flange on the bottom is slightly crooked.

Open your fixtures right away and check them. I bought mine in July and did not install until 12/3/2020 because the room was not ready. I opened the boxes and both globes were broken. It's clearly too late to return them and my electrician installed the fixtures. I am now trying to buy replacement globes from Westinghouse.
