Megalodon: The Biggest and Deadliest SHARK (Age 5 - 8) (Discovering the World Around Us)

My second purchase. My smart wife tries to find non-electronics gifts for our youngest family members. We started giving stuff like fossils to stimulate their imagination away from cell phones - now we like to give the book as a prelude to the second part of their present, an actual tooth (not included). The book always thrills the little guys when they see all those big mean teeth. Then we give the second part of the gift which is an actual Megalodon tooth of 4"-5" or so (get them cheaper on the net). The boys go wild when they get the actual shark tooth and can't wait to show off their cool tooth to their friends - the book is a perfect compliment for the two-part gift presentation, which we get such a thrill out of - I think it's good for a boy of 4-7 or so.

The book was at my grandson's level and he enjoyed the pictures and reading about the meglodon.

My 6 year old loved this book! Illustrations were great, text was well organized, and it was at the right level for a beginning reader. Most of the words were easy but he also included some challenging words. Juliet wanted to read it twice in a row. She looked at the last page and asked me to order all the books by this author for her!

Written for kids to understand

Bought a fossilized megalodon tooth for grandsons 7th birthday. The book is great companion to help him get perspective on this prehistoric creature.

While we enjoyed reading about the big megalodon, the book itself was pretty short. It’s a good introductory book for kids but for more inquisitive minds this one is an appetizer.

I bought the used version of this book and was worried about quality- i was very surprised with how great it looked. It was just like brand new. My nephew loved it!

A birthday present for my 9 year old granddaughter, she loved it, as well as the toothy grins of all the sharks, she had a few smiles herself.

This is 100% waste of money for the priceFor 1150 rupees the paper quality should be really good but here they have given a normal paper and not at all worthyPlease do not buy any one and there is no return option as well

This is a great book if you boys are interested in big sharks

It had the right combination of pictures, facts and content.

Happy that I bought this for my son who is fascinated about reading about sharks. This one is his favorite till now.
