This is a superb product. It does what it says...kills flies!
I purchased two of the smaller packets to test on a property in town and on a property out in the country. We have been unfortunate enough to have an egg farm move in and grow to a dozen large buildings over the past several years. It has nearly destroyed the value of our property because we have not found anything that would help with the probably millions of flies we see daily. THIS IS THE ONLY PRODUCT WE'VE FOUND THAT ACTUALLY ALLOWS US TO ENJOY OUR PROPERTY!!! We noticed the difference almost immediately. And, we saw an almost miraculous difference within 24 hours. I cannot recommend this product strongly enough.

Most awesome product ever
So, originally my daughter, who is a certified pest control technician, sprayed 5-6 areas on our front porch last year during a fly outbreak (we live in central Alabama and we'd had LOT of rain and heat, hence, a LOT of flies). Within 5 minutes out porch was COVERED in CARPET of dead and dying flies. That was impressive enough, but the next morning was even better: we got up, went outside and there were HUNDREDS of dead roaches of various species, from the huge "Palmetto Bug" types to the German Cockroach that are almost impossible to kill to the Asian Cockroach which seems to live magnolia tree leaves and pine straw (of which there is a ton of not just in our yard but in the South in general. This year, it's been a hundred times worse and unfortunately the kiddo moved to Savannah so I had to purchase some on my own. I got it in from Amazon, mixed it according to the directions and started spraying. Again, AMAZING results. All you need is a spray bottle (fine mist or adjustable to stream; I recommend fine mist), a piece of paper (or disposable funnel) and water. Mix well (will be milky white colored) and start spraying. Do NOT apply near any pet food or anywhere you put out food for ANYTHING. The dying flies will crawl into it and contaminate it.

Fantastic product for eliminating flies
I needed a product to get rid of flies on the patio of my house where I smoke food. The flies seem to be attracted whenever I use my smoker. The company that I had for pest control at the time was clueless of how to eliminate them. Personally, I think, it’s a cost issue for them to add this product to help theircustomers. I researched products and came across this and gave it a try. Now, after I use my smoker, I spray the walls on my patio and the flies are gone or dead within a day. Additionally, if I have flies that get into the home, I will spray some of this product on a paper plate and put it on the island in my kitchen and within a day the flies are on the plate and dead. I highly recommend this product. You cannot go wrong.

Didn’t work for me, may work for you
Pros:• it’s inexpensive• it’s what the pros use• directions are easy to followCons:• was not effective in killing fliesIt simply did not work. At. All. I followed the easy to understand instructions etc but it did absolutely nothing except make the swarm of flies snicker in haughty disdain. I thought perhaps I did something wrong mixing it up or the product was a dud so after a 10 days of zero results I called our pest control company. They charged me $97. Afterward I looked at the details on the invoice and saw that they used the very same product. It also was ineffective on the flies. It just seemed to attract more but none would be courteous enough to die. I have no idea why this product didn’t work for my situation. My pest control tech observed the flies so I would assume if this wasn’t the right product for the job he wouldn’t have used it. I have no doubt that some of the other reviewers had great success and knowing that this is the exact same product a professional pest company uses I would highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a fraction of what a pro will charge you and it just might work for you and save you some money. Just know it doesn’t work on what I guess are sophisticated and highly evolved flies.

Professional Results
Toxic to cats but safe anyway to use around them since it's not airborne. This stuff must smell quite good to flies, but the initial pungent smell doesn't remain once wet and is perfectly tolerable in a NYC apartment. Works very well when wet with water in a saucer. I can add some fatty meat too as bait. The dozens of dead flies already present don't seem to scare the other ones away. After a full day I have to re-wet it and then top it off with a bit more powder the next day and that's about as long as it works before I start fresh again. At night, a bright light shining on the saucer seems to draw them out of other rooms reliably. Only works on normal house flies not fruit flies, but there are highly effective (but somewhat toxic without ventilation) Hot Shot Pest Strip units the rid my fruit fly problem once and for all unlike all bait traps that simply failed on highly evolved NYC insects. With these I can let my sink pile up when I'm busy and not have to become a sudden neat freak when fly season arrives in earnest.
