When curling my long hair, I want curls that hold without being too tight or so loose that they fall out by the end of the day. This is a great size, and it heats up incredibly fast. I curl my hair starting at the root, turning the iron as I go down which, on shorter barrels, presents a challenge. The length of of this barrel suits long hair, and it does not snag and grab. Also, love the color.

This is my favorite "go to" curling iron. I love the longer length and it gets very hot. I loved the first one so much, that I bought a second one for up north.

I tried MULTIPLE curing irons before finding this one and I am AMAZED. Great quality, glides through the hair without snagging. I have 18 inch extensions in and the long barrel helps for quick styling. Absolutely recommend this curling iron. Very easy to use and works amazingly for the perfect mermaid hair!

Use it alll the time works great. Wish it had an auto shut off th though.

My trusty ancient curling iron died abruptly, leaving me on the hunt for a replacement. Apparently I’m oddly particular about my curling iron because this proved difficult. I use it every single day and since I have thick naturally wavy/curly hair that is about 4” past my shoulders, it takes some work to manage. This was the third curling iron I ordered and the only one I didn’t have to return. The 1.5” barrel is perfect for loose curls, and the extended length makes styling a breeze. The first couple times I used it, I did have a little bit of hair catching at the clamp area but I think it was user error because now that I’ve gotten used to it that isn’t a problem.

Fast heat-up & wide temperature range: Reaches high heat (up to ~450 °F) quickly thanks to dual-heat inside/outside plate technology, ideal for thick or resistant hair types. The performance declines after ~1 year of regular use. Temperature control may became inconsistent, and plates lost effectiveness.

I may have burnt the breaks off my hand and neck the first time using this, but thats probably (absolutely) my fault. Aside from almost grabbing the barrel to catch it when I dropped it after burning myself, it is pretty good!I wish the clippy clamp handle thing was a little longer and theres a tiny gap near the bottom that I tend to touch and burn myself on.
