This book is an excellent resource for anyone preparing to become a certified nursing assistant. It explains the basics in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Very well-organized, up-to-date, and helpful with real-life examples. Highly recommended for students and instructors!

Great book for nursing class.

I had the pleasure of working with a live nursing assistant who was truly exceptional. She was compassionate, attentive, and always patient — exactly what you hope for in someone providing direct care. Her communication skills were excellent, and she showed genuine concern for the well-being and comfort of the patient.

This book was “required” for my online certified nurse assistant (CNA) class. I literally flipped through it once and never looked it again. I’m giving it four stars because while it does seem like a decent book, You don’t really need it as you can just google everything. I do think this book would be good for people who like hands-on material and are a paper student (I’m digital). Good luck nursing students!
