CURT 58671 Vehicle-Side and Trailer-Side 4-Pin Round Wiring Harness Connectors

I’m using this plug on my lawn/ driveway sprayer equipment. I needed something that was easily accessible to connect the spray trailer to the tractor. I’ve used these 4 pin plugs for many different purposes over the years including replacing cheap flat four plugs on small trailers. These plugs help keep corrosion out of the connector pins.

Using it for a winch controller plug, works great, easy to wire

After I purchased this set, I came across a comparable one at a local "big box" store. Glad I bought the one shown here ! As another reviewer noted, some of the sets sold in stores are plastic junk, and I tend to agree.This present set is made of solid metal, unlikely to warp or crack over time. I lubricated the contact pins with dielectric grease to keep the plug from sliding smoothly. The lid locks the plug when it's in place, which is a good idea. Excellent value for the money, and the item looks good on my trailer hitch.

I bought this to install on my truck so I could tow my father-in-law's trailer with a round connector and I bought a Curt 57224 to adapt this to another trailer with a flat connector. This item, the Curt 58671, is not compatible with the Curt 57224 or my father-in-law's trailer's round trailer plug. The pins in the 58671 are larger than the sockets in the 57224. This kit, the 58671, appears to be well made and durable. I wish it were compatible. But durable doesn't help when the existing plug won't fit.

It was small in size and worked just great where I needed it. I use it to connect pick up wiring to a camper For a quick disconnect when removing camper

Wanted to have a connector for the tow behind sprayer that fitted the small Ventrac tractors Auxiliary power point, but also an endpoint for the side by Side so that it can also power the sprayer. This did both well!

This made plugging in my trolling motor soooooo easy. Before I was using 2 plugs (hense the plastic weld), but they fell out. This was easy to install even with 10 guage wire, and stays plugged in. The whole project took less than 30 minutes. So far, not a drop of rust.

Acheté pour remplacer le connecteur d'une machinerie agricole. Contrôle de lance balle New Holland 72. Presse a foin 575. Simplement enlever les 2 bornes inutiliser dans mon cas. Même type de connecteur sur filages de lumières de remorque agricole aussi

If this had cost 5 times more than it is then there would be some small design complaints and the fit and finish isn't perfect, but for the price is an incredible product, highly recommend
