Better than expected
As other reviewers have stated, this thing is huge! I know it lists dimensions, and it matches what is listed, but for some reason, this looks bigger than I expected. Super easy to set up, and is holding its shape. I am using it to hold dog supplies (leashes, treats, waste bags, etc.), on a table by our back entrance and it is working perfectly for that. I was worried about the lid and if it would be a pain to open and close, but it is working great. The sides and lid are stiff and sturdy. The rope handles are a natural color - I know some reviews mentioned green but mine are not. It is light weight and works great for storage, but not sure how well it would hold up for carrying around anything that has substantial weight to it. From a distance it gives the "impression" of a wooden box, but you can tell it is not. For my purposes it is working out great. Looks nice, stores what I need, and is holding up well.

They are almost 9 in. High... Not 8
Maybe I got an odd runoff, but these were close to 9 in. I have an 8-in space these needed to go in and they were an inch too big. I will be returning them. They needed to specifically fit a space in a buffet. It really bums me out that they could be so wrong in the measurement. But I can say this they're very pretty, very sturdy for what they are. And they look cool as heck. But I took off the stars for not having an accurate description.
