Had it one year with daily use. My husband loves it. Its very sturdy and heavy with great quality. Keeps cards safe from falling out. The design is sleek and handsome.

Works great has long length very strong pullback so I would be careful stretching and letting go. Just stretch and then bring it back by hand.

Definitely heavy duty, the retraction strength is really strong. I have a habit of spinning my work badge around by the string when I'm bored, and ended up breaking the string on a normal retractable badge holder. I don't see how that will be possible with thing, it's quite sturdy. The carabiner clip is of solid quality, the braided steel cable is strong but flexible, and the badge holder loop seems pretty durable. I removed the key ring because I don't need it. It dangles a little lower than a typical retractable badge holder, but I wear my badge on my waist (carabiner through the belt loop) and with this the bottom of the badge is right around where the bottom of a phone would be in your pocket. Due to its solid construction, it's slightly heavier than other badge holders, but not distractingly so (at least for wearing attached to the waist). Note: I wear my badge in a plastic sleeve, which results in it dangling slightly lower (a few cm) than if I looped it through the badge itself. The only downside is that it's just bulky enough that it would be awkward to wear on a lanyard, and the bottom of the badge falls below the belt for me when connected to a standard lanyard.

Works well and seem durable. They are also huge. It well over the size of a quarter and too bulky for me to wear comfortability, but I am a 5 ft 4 in woman. Probably going to give these to my male coworkers and look for something a bit smaller for myself.

Sturdy and solid return spring. Wire cable. I think I will get lots of reliable use from these. I’ll update the review if I don’t.

I am a corrections nurse and have gone through several key/badge reels. I thought they were just something that needs to be replaced often. NOT THE CASE!. This package comes with 2, but I have used the one for a year of full time work. very secure and durable. Great value
