Absolutely adored this book
I absolutely adored this book. I think it will 100% be up there as one of my fave sapphic romances 🫶🏽 I loved it right from the very start, it was definitely spicer than I was excepting 🔥 I loved Cassie as her confident attitude, I enjoyed seeing her become softer and open herself up more around Erin. I adored the friendship group Cassie had.I loved seeing them slowly grow closer and that push and pull of trying to stay away. I did kinda guess how the story was going to play out but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it at all. It was such a cute fluffy read fro start to finish, not much angst or drama. The ending absolutely melted my heart 🥹 I could read books on these two. Honestly if you enjoy sapphic novels and you haven’t read this, you should 🫶🏽This is the first book I’ve read by Meryl and it certainly won’t be the last.

Cassie and Erin
An amazing ‘one night to forever age gap sapphic romance’ that brought out a range of emotions as I read through the engrossing story of 21 year old college student Cassie, and 38 year old Erin, a divorced doctor, who, after an initial sexual encounter during Family Weekend at Cassie’s college, thinking they’d never meet again, discovers the very next day that Cassie is in fact the best friend of Parker, Erin’s daughter. Both parties thinking it would have to be a one night stand only proves to be disingenuous as the chemistry between the two women is so incendiary they find they take every opportunity to explore their connection further, despite the risks involved. The main characters are so beautifully drawn, and their connection feels so real you can understand why they can’t say no, we must stop now. As the reader I was continually left with a feeling of jeopardy as the story continued, waiting for the truth and the inevitable fallout to finally emerge. I was unsure at the beginning whether the MCs were likeable enough but my opinion was changed the further into the story I got. The supporting cast of family and friends were essential to the success of this book, the spice levels were appropriate for the story being told, so overall quite spicy. I can highly recommend this as a classic example if you’re a fan of the age gap trope.

Forbidden Sapphic Romance
If you are looking for a sapphic forbidden romance, then this book is a must. Imagine hooking up with the perfect stranger only to discover the next morning that last night’s hook-up is indeed your daughter’s college best friend. The tension is great throughout as the endeavour to unsuccessfully stay away from one another. There are a few thorough spicy moments, so if that’s not your sort of cup of tea, I would stay away. There are many crucial themes present throughout Erin and Cassie’s story with some great characters: Parker, who has a significant character journey herself, and Acacia, who is such an endearing character.Read if you enjoy:Forbidden RomanceAge GapForced Proximity (at times)Sapphic Romance

A really enjoyable book
I found myself sucked into this book really quickly. It definitely had the spice everyone had been talking about but it was also thoughtful and moving at times. It didn't take the obvious twists and turns and I found myself fully rooting for them.
