Always wanted to get a Japanese Mandolin but was a little concern about the dangers of the sharp blade. After getting one decided to look for something to protect my hand while using it. Got this and did try it with different knives and the last was the JM, wow, I don't know how this thing works, but it works. And the best part is that it feels very comfortable, just like a garden glove. 5 stars.

I actually didn't buy these for what they were intended. My dog found one when we were out for a walk one day. It was the first thing that he didn't tear to shreds in a matter of seconds. I stuffed them and stitched them shut with squeaky toys inside. The first one took him a couple of days to figure out how to tear up. Then I started putting them together in threes. Somehow he managed to kill the squeaky toy inside but has not torn up the last one I made.
