works good, no more cats in my garden

I bought this product because we have a cat that keeps coming through our property and marking our vehicles (especially mine!). I spread some of the product around the driveway, and in front of my car (the cat's favorite place to mark). The second day after doing that, I watched the cat on our security camera as he walked right across the product, and marked my car! So, after cleaning off the front of my car, I put even more of the product out. The next night...same thing! Needless to say, I pretty much lost faith in the product, swept it off the driveway, and poured the rest of it out on the other side of the driveway. I just got finished watching that cat walk right through what I poured out, and through the driveway like it was nothing. I think that it may work better on people instead of cats, because the mix of smells this product has is absolutely disgusting! I tried to work out in my garage after spreading it out on the driveway, and i wanted to puke! It took a couple of days before I was able to deal with the smell. Overall, I would not recommend wasting your money on this product. I'm actually going to try an ultrasonic animal repeller. I really hope it works, so I don't have to go with the "nuclear option." 2/11/21 update - As if what I wrote above isn't bad enough...I washed my car today, and got the stuff that I poured out beside my driveway wet. It smelled like I was standing in the middle of a chickenhouse. Now, for those of you who don't know what a chickenhouse smells like...trust me, you don't want to know!!! Sadly, I won't be able to get rid of what is spread out without completely digging out the areas and disposing of it. Gee, can't wait until it rains! <sarcasm>

Doesn’t work if done lightly. We don’t have dogs so we get the local strays. Tested on porch, a local favorite. This cat stopped to enjoy the Cat Mace. Went back and really laid it down, seemed to work then. Pricey to be effective.

Does not work as advertised. Neighbors cats just walk up and stand, sit, lay and unfortunately POOP on my driveway and around my garbage cans. Ordered 2 bags and sprinkled it heavily all over and it makes no difference. I also Ordered the 1 gallon liquid spray. Sprayed it all over the same area and on top of the 2 bags of solid sprinkle. As I'm spraying it, moving down the driveway cats are walking behind me watching what I'm doing. They are not bothered by it at all.

I was nervous after reading good and bad reviews. I used the granular in my flowerbeds and the spray on my outdoor furniture and rugs. The cats don’t like it. I have a 1/4 acre lot. I started in the backyard because that’s where we live and entertain in the spring/summer. Now I’m using it in my front planters. I’m really happy with the results. Update 05/12/2025 If you live in California, you cannot get this product via Amazon. I called the company and there is an issue regarding the description/labeling? California does not allow agricultural pesticides. But this product is NOT a pesticide. I ordered straight from the company at the same price as Amazon. If your total is over $99 there is free shipping. They also told me I can order from WalMart and it will be delivered without problem.
