We have built approximately 10 different stem robot kits from Amazon an this one was my absolute favorite. My son is 5 I pretty much just read directions and he builds. Directions were great easily understood and good pictures. The kit itself is basically Lego so easy to assemble. There were no missing pieces. Robot is larger than most other stem kits I'd say approx 8-9 inches tall this is a rough estimate. We took our time and did it an hour a day for 3 days to finish. My son enjoyed the build and extremely enjoys driving it. The unit is rechargeable and comes with a charging cord. Remote and robot work as should. Also you are able to download an app on your phone and use your phone as a controller.
