First of all this is my 4th smart product that uses the Smart Life app & I've been happy with the connection issues on all. The other 3 I have are smart bulbs.Alexa intergration just happened.My only downside to this energy monitor plug is that it dowsn't allow you to input your electric costs & this can't see a runny £ total. Not that big an issue as easy to use an online calculator, but a shame. Hence the 4 stars.But all in all yeah good.

Although I couldn't connect this particular product to my WiFi, the customer service was quick, friendly, helpful and refunded me with no problems. Even though this item wasn't good for me (only connects on 2.4 ghz) I would choose to buy from these guys in the future. Although I couldn't use it I gave 4 stars for this reason.

Excellent product. At first I gave it a 1* review thinking it needs a subscription service but it’s optional and not needed.It shows used energy and cost in £ when you set it up. Really cool device.I bought it to measure the cost of using my quite powerful desktop PC. I connected a big extension cord so I can measure PC, monitor, speakers from just one unit.

Cannot fault them for the price, had no issues setting them up. You have to change your wifi to a 2.4ghz to be able to set them up, but a quick look on YouTube and it was completed. I would recommend doing that before receiving the plugs for ease. Would buy again when I need some more.

Reliable smart and worthy product, does what it says. Makes sense to have it if you want to track your power consumption on some appliances. Allows you to convert house to smart home, control devices from anywhere. Makes you lazy as well 😉

Setup on its own app & linking to Alexa was incredibly easy & super quick. I was initially sceptical because it was so reasonably priced at just £8.40 but the quality, look & functionality is just as good, in some cases superior, to more expensive smart plugs costing five times as much. Very pleased 😃

I've got plenty of smart plugs from various makes - Amazon's own, TP and a number of Chinese unknown (to me at least) brands, but when I needed a couple more for outside lights and a heater in our cabin I wanted ot go for some with energy monitoring capabilities.It was important to me that whatever I used used the Smartlife app, as I already have others using the same system. these were cheap and fitted the bill perfectly, but are they are good? Well yes, so far so good.Setup was a doddle. I've done this a few times now and as long as your network is broadcasting a 2ghz signal it's all plain sailing. Hit the add button in the app and follow the simple on screen instructions and that's it - the pair of them were showing in Smartlife within 5 minutes of opening the box. As I already had other Smartlife devices they worked with Alexa out of the box, I literally didn't have to do anything else except saying "Alexa, turn on garden lights" etc and I was away. If you aren't using a voice assistant like Alexa the app has options for turning them on and off and using a timer to schedule them, as well as countdown (to turn off in x hours etc) and random facilities (great for when you are on holiday for example).The plugs themselves are simple affairs, with an illuminated power button on the side, and just about the right size - not too chunky, not as small as others I have. With regards to energy monitoring I found this part really useful and helpful in understanding why my bill is so big - my oil heater being a huge cuprit, especially when my daughter leaves in on overnight by mistake when there's no one there! I was also surprised at how much my perfect draft beer pump uses, so that will now be turned off unless I know I will be using it. There's options for energy use by month and year as well as the current power being used. Simple but enough for most people I would imagine.In summary then these were very simple to setup and use (5 minutes got the two up and running) and they work flawlessly. Recommended if you need smart plugs but want to see which items in your house are contributing most to your power bill.

So easy to install, and has all the timer functions I need.
