TrailHeads Performance Men's Fleece Hat, Winter Cap for Running & Golf

Exactly what my partner wanted! I was afraid it would not fit but it’s got great stretch and still stays snug to remain on in the wind and keep his head and ears warm. Edit - report from my partner is the elastic in the back needs to be tighter. Ilafter about 30 minutes the cap starts to ride up in the back.

I’m a woman. 5’4” 120 lbs but I have a big head! I also don’t have a ponytail. I decided to try the men’s hat by this company and I am very happy with the fit. I purchased this as a replacement for my current winter hat which has as seen better days. The ear flaps completely cover my ears when they are down. The brim is long enough that it keeps the sun out of my eyes and it has a black underside so it doesn’t reflect the bright light given off by the sun on the snow. The hat is reasonably warm. For really cold days when it is below 20 I will supplement with my hood. I wish this hat came in a larger variety of colors because I would love to have it in burgundy. I recommend this hat for warmth and fit.

Love the look, the warmth. But I deducted one star because it is a bit snug on my head. Not ridiculous or anything. I am a man with average sized head.

I got this for my husband because he wanted something to cover his ears this winter. When he doesn't need his ears covered it flip up out of the way. He really likes the cap. It is soft, very warm and lightweight. I like it too and I might get me one. Nice size bill to keep the sun out of his eyes. Very well made.

I've been look or a cold weather golf cap/hat for it seems like a decade. This cap is -- by far -- the best one I've found for playing golf in sub-40 temps or practicing when it's too cold for the course to open. It's warm without being cumbersome the one piece ear and neck flap covering works perfectly, and, for once in my life, one size really does fit most. And, very importantly to me, the bill is a proper baseball/golf cap bill. It's long enough and angled perfectly to provide relief from that winter sun glare. While it's certainly not expensive for what you get, it's about $10-20 more than I've ever paid for a similar accessory and all I can say is that it's very much worth it.

I've had a Marmot hat like this that didn't FULLY cover my ears. I went out for a walk today with the wind BLUSTERY, and this hat covers ALL OF MY EARS with room to spare and keeps a good bit of my neck warm too. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS HAT. Because it does CONCISELY what it should do. High Quality.

Although I find this hat very soft and warm to wear, apparently my head/hair won’t let it stay in place. I find myself constantly having to pull the ear covers down to cover my ears. You may not have this issue.

I love this hat. Sun in my eyes really bothers me - often resulting in a killer headache. That's not a problem in the spring, summer, and fall when I can wear a baseball cap. But when the cold weather hits and I need something warm on my head and ears, the baseball cap gets pushed to the side. Unfortunately, that's also when the sun seems particularly bright and intense (and closer to the horizon). So I was thrilled to receive this hat as a gift from my wife. It works great both at keeping me warm and keeping the sun out of my eyes. I wish it was less expensive and I wish it came in more color combinations (a white one would be great for my croquet playing dad), but I love the one I got and expect to wear it almost every day this winter!

I have had my eye on this for a while, but held back because of the price - I hoped it might go down at some point - but it didn't. Eventually bought it this week and tried it for the first time, yesterday. really good product which fits well and is very warm. I like the fact it has a peak at the front, as well as being able to fold up the sides. The only slight downer is that it is expensive when compared to other quality caps like Sealskinz.

Me va muy bien cuando paseo las perras - tengo el cuello y orejas calientes. Cuando hace sol la visera me protege los ojos; si hace un poco mas de calor se puede subir las orejeras, y si llueve la visera ayuda a evitar que la lluvia me moje los lentes. Una buena compra.
