Great tool!
This book is awesome and a great way to not only work with children with ADHD but assist the parents as well! I have used it several times with many different clients and have not been disappointed.

Multiple uses for this book...
Great ideas and solutions for the ADD/ ADHD classroom and others. Regular classrooms have undiagnosed children too.I'm using it also with my dog therapy group. Dog participates in a lot of the activities in the book. Excellent.

Wonderful resource
I work as a school based counselor with elementary children. Many carry a diagnosis of ADHD. I found this book to be well structured and the interventions easy to implement with or without parental participation. This is one of the best books I have ever bought in my work as a counselor.

Simon says Yes - buy this book!
This is a must have for anyone working with children that have the diagnosis of ADHD. Children are able to grasp content and apply to their life situations.

It's Ok.
It reads more like a manual rather than a workbook. The suggested activities that target differing forms of attention and impulsivity are broken up into sections. This may work better in a group setting rather than in a individual session (the way I chose to go with the activities). It is a helpful reference tool to generate ideas skill based coping skills.
