Very surprised and impressed
Was looking for a cheap and easy to use chainsaw to cut up some small trees that keep infesting the fence line of my property. This little guy was exactly what I needed. I read a lot of mixed reviews and was skeptical at first but gave this a shot and I have to say I was extremely pleased and impressed at the performance of this saw. Some said the automatic oiler did not work and at first I thought that was the case with the one I got but after careful inspection after a few cuts what I noticed was the oiler does not saturate the blade but delivers just the right amount while cutting. As stated before I originally bought the saw for some small trees....the first week I got the saw a neighbor cut down a huge silver maple that was just starting to rot on the inside and asked if I wanted it for fire wood. He gave me some very huge logs some of which were three to four feet long and two to three feet thick in some places. I didn't think this little saw would cut it but just for fun I tried it on these monster logs. With some patience and carefully planned cuts I was able to buzz these big logs into manageable firewood. This is where this saw impressed me the most. If there was anything negative I would say about the saw it is that the chain adjuster tends to loosen when you are trying to cut on that side as it rubs against the logs but as long as you keep a careful eye on it it's just an easy turn of the knob to keep it tight. This saw was not intended for hugs trees and logs but it can and will cut through some pretty big logs if done with a little patience and care. One other draw back is it's a little challenging to maneuver with a cord....other than that I can't say enough good things and would recommend this saw to anyone that needs a lightweight and easy to use saw for small jobs

Darn good chain saw
I'm happy I bought this chain saw. It works great, it's not heavy and it cuts great. The price is good too.

Low-cost plug-in model tethers me close to my house.
Overall I can’t complain too much with this purchase. I wanted a low cost chain saw without the messy maintenance of a gas engine or heavy LI-Ion batteries. This one is a 12 amp plug-in. Starting with a positive, the owners manual is pretty good, has a basic section on proper cutting and tree-felling techniques. However the recommended cord length is 50 feet max using 12 gage extension cord. Longer lengths are not recommended regardless of extension cord gage. Not many of my trees are within 50 feet of my home outlets. One other major issue is that the chain was installed backwards from the factory (in China). I was reading the owners manual portion on chain sharpening and took a close look at the “new” chain so I knew what a properly sharpened chain looks like. That’s when I saw the chain was put on the wrong way, arrow was pointed backwards. Easy enough to fix myself but disappointing. It’s also a little heavier than I expected for a plug-in compared to a gas model. One thing for sure is I won’t have to mix fuel, prime, choke, and pull, pull, pull.

Very powerful for being just electric.
Just because this is electric does not mean it is without power. It does the job quite well. I bought one of these to take down limbs from up in the tree. This was a replacement one for the same item I bought a few years back. Only reason I had to buy a new one is I dropped the old one out of the tree 30’ up onto he driveway. Housing shattered on the driveway. Not at all a product issue, as I would not expect anything to survive that. Liked it well enough, bought the same one again.

Easy Parts Replacement
I was unable to use my gas chain saw due to pacemaker restrictions so electric was my only option. After reading negative reviews about poor oiling systems and chains coming off I was reluctant but desperate. The fact that this saw used Oregon bar & chain got me to take a chance on it. To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be a huge understatement. The saw is the same size as my gas saw and while slower, had no trouble cutting the 30 inch 100 foot tree in the picture as well as 2 more 18 inch trees. The only time a threw a chain was when some twigs got under the chain. The saw is easy to maintain and best of all the oiler is a pump that puts oil through the bar when the motor runs instead of dripping onto the chain. I use regular bar oil and have not noticed any leaking at all under the saw.

Works as easy as pie!!
Who knew that an electric chainsaw could work so well and so flawlessly? I had a gas chainsaw previously and I'll tell you that not having to worry about gas and yearly maintenance will be such a relief! This product was ready to go right out of the box! All you have to do is add the oil. Glad I also read the reviews on Amazon before I bought it too to make sure I was getting the correct chainsaw for my needs. This chainsaw works well, is very light-weight and I didn't have to worry about the electric extension cord ever getting in my way! A great product to have!

65-year-old woman handles this chainsaw with ease. Cuts better than any other chainsaw I've used.
I'm a 65-year-old woman, and heat my home with a wood-burning stove (propane furnace backup). This chainsaw is light enough for me to handle, and cuts better than any gas or electric chainsaw I've ever used. I keep my 50-pound electric generator in the 4-wheeler wagon, so that I can drive thru the woods and cut firewood anywhere with my Earthwise 16" electric chainsaw, and quickly split wood with my diamond splitting wedge, sledge hammer, and splitting maul (looks like an axe).

Great for small jobs
For an electric chainsaw, I'm very satisfied, I have fallen trees up to 12-18 inches wide all over the property and I manage to cut them into logs easily enough.I would'nt do any really big projects, but it's great for around the house to make fire wood. Sturdy enough, and still cuts straight after quite a few uses.
