Meuxan 13 Piece Ball Stylus Dotting Tools for Rock Painting, Clay Pottery Modeling Design

This is my second set of these because I slowly lost all my favorite tools from my collection before. This time around I decided just to replace the set I liked best (don't worry, I got a pouch to keep them all together this time!). I use them with oil-based clay which can make to difficult to clean, but I already use alcohol for my work surfaces and that works fine on these too. Would be easier for water-based sculpting medium, but that's my fault

Purchased for my wife and I haven’t heard anything bad so it must be good. Trust me, if there was something negative about it, wife would’ve let me know. Pick one up. Pretty versatile with the different pieces that come with it.

I've been painting rocks they are awesome for detail and they drag the paint along very well

So using these needs practice. I was trying to do the dot thing and it did not turn out to good. But they are really nice to use. Just need to practice pressure with them.

These tools are exactly what I was looking for in my mandala rock artwork.They are very light (although the ones with the pink grips are slightly weighted), and comfortable to hold.My reasoning for one less star from the perfect "5" is minor: One of the utensils (the ones with the "spiral"-designed bodies) has lost one of its silver heads within one month of use. This is likely consequential of my own neglect, however, I must admit -- I allowed it to "soak" in water over night along with my acrylic paint brushes.Overall, I am a VERY satisfied customer and craftswoman (:
