Power Acoustik CB1-4500D 4500W Class D Amplifier

Three months after purchase and Im pretty unhappy with my purchase. Ive been getting weird readings from my DMM & O scope weird voltage spikes and random frequencies. Thought it was my head unit at first, double checked everything kept gain way down because I was worried about my sub getting a random surge or power. Did more testing getting a clean consistent waveform, voltage never exceeding 2volts (amp cant accept more than 5 volts fyi), still not sure where it was getting random surges from, then today went back to the amp to see what the waveform looked like and with the car off RCAs AND speaker outputs unplugged and no music or signal being played whatsoever I got around an entire volt of the nastiest looking waveform going to the amps speaker output. Really disappointed. Im just past the 30 day mark I can return it to amazon and Power acoustik's website says customers have to submit a receipt of a professional install for a valid warranty claim, plus you have to pay for shipping there AND send a 25$ cashiers check to cover them shipping it back. I get they deal with a lot of ppl abusing their equipment then blame it on P.A. but Ive been doing the car audio thing for years and take care of my equipment and know how to install and properly use an amp. I monitor voltage, real time box rise, temp of the environment and really unhappy I wasted my hard earned money for an amp that is already not working.

I have this amp pushing 4 15 inch woofers .they can hear me a block away make sure you get the big 3 upgrade you going to need it.hungry for power.

Solid amp power is insane I have it powering two 8in audio pipe quad stack woofers and it makes them hit hard. one small issue I came across is the speaker and power connections, the screw is at an angle and forces your screwdriver to rub the top of the amp as you open the connections. Other than that it is a great amp have it running at 1 ohm and have had no issues over heating. For the price it's a steal. If your looking for a powerful amp look no further.

Has crazy amount of watts for the money, ended up blowing the coil out of one of my subs LOL (they werent meant to take the power I delivered, which was about half)... So gotta order Subs that can take it, deff not the sellers fault.... ALTHOUGH I will add that I am NOT pleased that it does not have 0 gauge inputs for power/ground (have to use 0 to 4 gauge adapter) which does not make any sense considering the load.... ALSO did not like that instead of allen screws they use Philips on all the speaker/remote/power/ground inputs..... dont remember seeing that on the listing.... BUT i will say even with all that the amp does great, even the bass knob is awesome, and havent had any overheating - doesnt get hot at all.... For the money Id buy it again!!!

This amp wouldn't get hot at all is perfect for my build and I am happy with it.

It was a good amp for a day or two then went bad I had all the right wires in it still went bad but all around it was pretty nice

Got it to make my music perform over stock.

It is not 4000w rms at 1 ohm it is 2000w rms at 1 ohm....the spec are not the same between the cite and directly in the box...😑
